Very simple, but very striking.  Same card, different scene and complimentary colors.  I could have stamped directly on the patterned paper, but I chose to stamp on Vellum (to make it look like I gave it a little effort).

Sentiment is from the Seascape Bundle, 158359 (which happens to be 20% off this month).

Because these cards were so "simple", I decorated the inside too.

 

I wanted to conserve this paper as much as possible, so for these two cards (above & below), I cut the paper in half at 3" with the length of 4-1/4" (you have wiggle room on the length, so decide how the scene would look best).  For this card, I stamped directly on the paper.

I put a 3-1/4" x 4-1/2" layer of Vellum underneath, just to give it a soft layer.  I also used the Gingham Embossing folder, 157627.

These two cards are the same layout as above, but I put a thin, solid color layer under the pattern (3-1/8" x 4-3/8") and watercolor wash pattern 4" x 5-1/4" layer from the New Horizons pack with a thin, solid color layer under that, 4-1/8" x 5-3/8".

 

This card shows another example of conserving or using up scraps of the New Horizons paper.  The two outer strips are 1-1/8" 3-3/4" and the middle "scene" layer 2-1/2" x 3-3/4".

These cards are made with the Notecards & Envelopes, which are slightly smaller than the standard size card we make.  You can see below, I cut this paper into quarters, 3" x 3".  Each panel is used above in a simple notecard.

Sometimes, we just need to get a quick thank you card into the mail, and this one is perfect for that.
