🐝 Bridgerton Colors Stampin' Up! Style

Last week I posted a picture on my facebook page of this beautiful hibiscus flower. I took the picture at the butterfly exhibit when I visited the Tucson Botanical Gardens (if you are ever in the area, I highly suggest you visit these beautiful gardens). Alongside the picture, I posted the Stampin' Up! colors I saw -

Melon Mambo, Polished Pink, Calypso Coral, Daffodil Delight & Granny Apple Green.

Michelle wrote: "I LOVE that you see SU colors everywhere you go" and that got me thinking that I DO see Stampin' Up! colors in everything and everywhere. Do you??

I love playing with colors and Stampin' Up! certainly gives us great ones to play with - 53 colors to be exact. I'm excited to share the 5 new colors they will be introducing in the next Annual Catalog, but am going to wait because we still have a whole month left of the retiring In Colors. Believe me, they are worth the wait.

If you are a fan of these retiring In Colors, I suggest you stock up on paper, re-inker and ribbons before they are gone. I assure you, they will be gone before you can blink.

Speaking of seeing colors everywhere.........

Have you been enjoying all the beautiful colors of the dresses, flowers and backdrops of Season 2 of Bridgerton???

If you haven't heard of Bridgerton, it's a Netflix series produced by Shondaland, the same producers of ABC shows Grey's Anatomy, Scandal, Station 19 and more and based on novels by Julia Quinn. Season 2 was just released on Friday.

Summery of both seasons:

Season 1 - Bridgerton follows Daphne Bridgerton, the eldest daughter of the powerful Bridgerton family as she makes her debut onto Regency London's competitive marriage market. Hoping to follow in her parents' footsteps and find a match sparked by true love, Daphne's prospects initially seem to be unrivaled.

Season 2 - This season is based on Julia Quinn's novel "The Viscount Who Loved Me" and it follows Anthony as he goes in search of a wife to fulfill his familial duties as the Bridgerton heir, only for his pursuit of Edwina Sharma to be thwarted by her sister Kate.

As I was watching (binging) the episodes, the colors jumped off the screen and spoke to me in Stampin' Up! language. Below are color charts I created for four of the series families. Use them as a base for your creations. Of course you need to include sparkle in your creations for all the jewels they wore!

I would have included Pretty Peacock instead of Just Jade, but Stampin' Up! no longer carries that rich color.
