June 2022 Newsletter - Christine Josti, Independent Stampin' Up! Demonstrator
I'm so happy it's June! The weather is (usually) beautiful, my daughter is home for summer break so the four of us are together again, my garden is starting to thrive, family & friends are starting to gather again and I'm starting to play with my new Annual Catalog products. I hope that you enjoy June as much as I
do!
ALL Kits BOGO 50% Off in June
Summer is the PERFECT time for kits. Need a project for after the beach? A rainy day project? A project for on-the-go? Something to keep the kids busy while prepping dinner? What you need is a project kit. Stampin' Up!
has revitalized their Kits Collection by offering all sorts of all-inclusive, one-time kits. There are card kits, crafting kits, project kits, stamping kits and non-stamping kits.
AND for the month of June, all kits are BOGO (Buy One Get One) 50% off.
AND the more expensive kit will be the kit that is 50% off, not the usual lesser priced kit. Fabulous!

A brand new kit has been added to the Kits collection. It’s a perfect kit for summer journaling called Love This Memory Notebook Kit. This kit comes with a kraft notebook, alphabet & iridescent stickers, washi tape, adhesive, printed cards to decorate, a stamp set and ink. This kit is a perfect kit/gift to give a kid, tween or teen to fill out all summer long.
I’m thinking this kit would also make a great activity for a kid birthday party or family reunion. Everyone gets their own kit to work on during the party and then takes it home as their party favor.
Remember, if you buy two kits, the first one is full price and the second is 50% off (June only). This sale works for all multiples of two, with no limits.

Last Chance for Jan - June Catalog
Believe it or not, but the January - June Occasions catalog is coming to an end this month. I'm sad to see a few of the products go, especially some of the fabulous papers. Many of the items that did not carry over into the new Annual Catalog are now on sale. Some items are priced up to 50% off. These retiring
products are while supplies last or until June 30.

There are only a few days left to sign up for my Creative Stamp Club. Members can live near or far because I offer two options, in person and to-go. Both ways of Club are a lot of fun. Those who come in person enjoy creating with other people (&
have even created friendships) and those who do the to-go enjoy receiving monthly club kits and putting the projects together with videos to follow.
If you have any questions about Club, please let me know. Details are below and the sign up deadline is next Tuesday, June 7.
Creative Stamp Club Details:
- Each member purchases (a minimum) $30 in Stampin’ Up! product each of the six months.
- Each member is assigned a month to be “hostess”. During their host month, they will receive all of the host benefits (aka Stampin’ Rewards) for that month.
- Each member will receive a free, monthly Creative Stamp Club Class. You can attend in person or by watching videos.
- In person Club Class dates are the 2nd Monday of the month at 10 am or 7 pm. If enough in-person members join, I will add on additional meeting dates each month.
- To-go members (or those in-person who don’t attend) will have video tutorials to watch and put together their projects. The supplies for these projects can be picked up in person (if local), or mailed to you at your expense. (I keep track of the postage and you will reimburse me at the end of the six months). If projects require stamping, I will put those together for you per Stampin’ Up!’s policy of not mailing stamped images in kits.
You will still receive the videos to see how the project was put together or the technique used.
- Projects are generally (technique based) 2 cards and one 3D project. Sometimes the 3D project is substituted with an intricate card.
- Once you join, I will send you details on how to order online with a specific Club host code as well as ideas on increasing your month’s Stampin’ Rewards amounts.
Other Benefits of Club
- In person: Be with people who love to stamp, learn and chat! Inspire and learn from each other (not just from me).
- To go – have card kits mailed to you with accompanying videos to put together at home, at your own convenience.
- Learn new techniques, folds & projects
- It doesn’t matter what level stamper/crafter you are.
- Get to use new products a month early (I use my pre-order products with my Club members first)
Celebrate the Queen's 70th Jubilee
Today marks the kickoff celebration of Queen Elizabeth II's accession to the throne, 70 years ago. They will be celebrating this Platinum Jubilee all weekend long. Can you imagine all of that responsibility of being a Queen for 70 years??? Being in the constant
limelight, the history she has seen (& been a part of) and all the service & responsibilities? Here is a link to all of the weekend festivities in case you are curious: https://www.royal.uk/platinum-jubilee-central-weekend
A few fun facts about Queen Elizabeth II:
- Every morning she has a cup of Twinings Earl Grey cup of tea, milk and no sugar
- She volunteered as a truck driver in WWII
- She bought her wedding dress with WWII ration coupons
- One of her hobbies is stamp collecting (and has been on several stamps herself)
- She celebrates two birthdays every year, her actual birthday in April and an official birthday celebrated in June (The two birthdays tradition for monarchs began with King George II back in 1748)
- She LOVES chocolate! Her favorite dessert is chocolate perfection pie (a layered chocolate pie with white and dark chocolate and chocolate shavings). Sounds yummy to me, I think I may have to look up the recipe.
As one of our May Club projects, we made this tea box. It may be a fun project for you to make this weekend while watching parts of the Queen Jubilee celebrations.
It's that time of year of gift giving, not Christmas, but graduation season. On yesterday's live, I created these fun "cash cards" with coordinating envelopes. It's a live video, with realtime mistakes & goofs, but also realtime problem solving with a solution that was better than my original
idea.
Note, at the end of the video, I mention a giveaway (that has expired). I have since found out that it is against FB policies to have contests in the manner that I did. I will honor the winner and think of different ways for future giveaways.
* To find past FB live videos, you have two options. You can visit my FB page and click videos in the menu bar option. That's the easiest way of finding them rather than scrolling through the feed. I also upload them to my YouTube channel each week and you can search the playlist for FB lives.
