Week 11 🍪 12 weeks of Christmas

Greetings!!! This is week 11 of the 12 Weeks of Christmas ideas, which means, ready or not, Christmas is coming soon. For this and next week, I'm going to keep the projects adaptable to supplies you already have, or easy to get.

Today's project is showing an easy and attractive way of packaging homemade cookies (recipe included at the end). I found these paper sandwich bags (I try to use the least amount of plastic as possible) at Market Basket. I'm sure most supermarkets carry them. You could also use an old fashioned brown paper lunch bag.

Use decorative paper and ribbon that's already in your stash, as well as supplies for a cute & matching tag. I'll include a list of what I used, to keep with the format of the past weeks.

Supplies

Bundle - Christmas Scottie 159744

Ink Color - Real Red 147084

Adhesives - Multipurpose Liquid Glue 110755 & Dimensionals 104430

Directions

1. Cut a piece of patterned paper 6" x 4". Glue to bottom front of paper bag. (These particular bags have a waxiness to them, so I suggest using multipurpose liquid glue instead of a tape runner).

2. Create a tag/label.

3. Put your cookies inside of bag. I have 6 shortbread cookies in the example above.

4. Roll/fold top of bag down to meet the patterned paper. Tie ribbon around to keep closed.

5. Attach tag/label.

Ever since I saw the Christmas Scottie bundle this summer, I have associated it with Walkers Shortbread and have used their colors and patterns as inspiration.
