February 2023 Newsletter - Christine Josti, Independent Stampin' Up! Demonstrator We have the greatest hobby! I've been reflecting back to when I took my first stamping class 16 years
ago. Being shown how to use rubber stamps and a paper cutter to make really nice handmade cards and assemble cute projects brought me such JOY that I couldn’t
wait to go back to class a month later. Soon, waiting a whole month between classes was too long to wait. I wanted (needed) to experience the paper crafting joy all of the time, so I decided to join Stampin’ Up! and I have been experiencing and sharing this joy ever since. I hope that you experience this same joy each time you pick up your stamps and create a project or card. I also hope the joy extends beyond the stamps and
paper. I am still friendly with the women in that very first stamping class I attended, as well as the many, many others I have learned from and taught. I used to host an annual, in person Open House each January/February, in conjunction with the start of Sale-a-bration. Trying to keep everyone safe & healthy, as well as to not exclude anyone now that my mailing list has grown outside my area, I changed this in person event to an annual ordering "special". Each year the incentive is different. 2023's "February Special" Place a $100 order in February, choose your one or two free
Sale-a-bration products (keep reading for extra choices) & receive a special Tea Treat "Fit for a Queen" in the mail, handmade by me. Who loves Happy Mail? You must use host code FSDERS4Z to qualify for the
Queen's treat. Order with me, at Mail Something Pretty, with this link. We have one month left of Sale-a-bration. I'm just in love with the Adorable Owl stamp set you can choose for free, with a $50 order and the Dandy Designs Designer Series Paper (48 sheets!!!), free with a $100 order. There are 9 choices to choose from! With each increment of $50, you can choose a free product/s. There are no limits on how many products you can choose!!! > See all of the Sale-a-bration choices in the Sale-a-bration Catalog And now there are EVEN MORE SALE-A-BRATION CHOICES!!!!! > See a close
up of the flyer with this link. Reminder: The item numbers in this flyer must be used in order to redeem these products as Sale-A-Bration items. These products have different item numbers in the catalog, which won’t register as part of Sale-A-Bration. Joining Stampin' Up! during Sale-a-bration In addition to the free products you can choose when you order,
there is also an incredible Sale-a-bration join opportunity. Read more about what it means to join Stampin' Up!, the potential, benefits, opportunities & incentives here: https://mailsomethingpretty.com/thinking-about-joining-stampin-up/ Craft Pantry Have you been receiving emails from kitchen,
baking and organizing companies saying it's time to stock up on your pantry and organize all your stuff?? It's also a good time to look at your "craft panty" to see which products are low, depleted and/or needs "re-stocking". I consider the following 10 products as "craft pantry" items, ones I always want on hand. Notecards & Envelopes. You get both the scored card base and matching envelope for very little cost. They Whisper White, Very Vanilla, Kraft (you get a box too) and patterned. Basic White Card Stock. I think this is the most
used card stock pack in the catalog. The semi-glossy sheen is only found in the Stampin’ Up! catalog, no stores compare. And you get 40 sheets! Rhinestones. Almost every crafter I come across loves Bling. It’s
always good to have an extra package on hand in case you want to go a bit crazy. Did you know you can color your Rhinestones with Blends Markers? Color coordination at it’s best. Envelopes. These "medium sized" envelopes fit
the size cards I show in my tutorials. They come in White, Vanilla & Clear. They also come in the cute 3" x 3" size. Linen Thread. I always have an extra spool Linen Thread on hand because I use it so
much. Simply Shammy. This cleaner-upper has a prime spot on my table for cleaning stamps and
blocks. Dimensionals (you can choose regular size or mini). My second most used adhesive. With Valentines day fast approaching, I thought I would share a fun way of decorating some chocolate treats (I'll give an example of a non-chocolate treat too). You may just see those Adorable Owls again too! have seen it on my craft room tour). I love it! I'm excited they have a newer version. Now I just have to find
another wall to hang it on. These kits are GREAT for gathering girlfriends/family together to craft together. No one needs any experience except for following directions. These wreaths would be a great activity to do during the Super Bowl (that is, if you're not a Kansas City Chiefs or Philadelphia Eagles
fan). The Wreath of Blooms Kit includes: - One 8" diameter chipboard wreath.
- Precut paper pieces that can be rolled and shaped into
three-dimensional blossoms.
- Multicolored brads to keep everything together.
- Thick twine to hang your wreath.
- Enough adhesive* to complete the project.
- Coordinating colors: Cajun Craze, Calypso Coral, Crumb Cake, Garden
Green, Night of Navy, Pear Pizzazz, Petal Pink, So Saffron, white.
