January 2023 Newsletter - Christine Josti, Independent Stampin' Up! Demonstrator Happy New Year!!!! I love this quote and am going to try to keep it front of mind this year. I'm excited about 2023. We have some exciting trips planned, as a family and in relation to Stampin' Up!. 2022 was my best Stampin' year (I'm celebrating my Sweet 16th year as a demonstrator this month) and I
can't wait to continue the good by serving you and your paper crafting. I invite and welcome you to join me as we continue the journey of creativity. Cheers! Christine A Tour of My Craft Room For many of us, me included, cleaning & organizing is a common New Year's resolution.
I love having all of our Christmas decorations up, but I equally love taking them all down. The empty spaces (of where all the Christmas things were) are peaceful to me. I really enjoy the minimalist look in January. At the beginning of each new year I give my craft room a big cleaning & purge. I find that if I didn't use something in the last
three months, then it doesn't belong in my immediate space. As an active demonstrator, I only keep current stamp sets and tools in my room. I know that many of you keep ALL of your supplies in the same area, but for me, that would be too overwhelming and distracting. All of my retired and older items get removed to a bin or shelf in another room (to be dealt with later). I am very lucky to have a dedicated room as a craft room (we call it the Art Room). When I started stamping 16 years ago, this room was our living room and all my things were in the corner on a folding table. To make small spaces work, you need to be organized and tidy (it's a good idea to be organized and tidy no matter how big or small the space is). January 9th is "Clean off your desk day" if that helps get you motivated to clean & purge too. I thought you may enjoy a tour of my happy, crafting space. 2023 Paper & Ribbon Share Deadline is TOMORROW I have been so mixed up with holidays and the observed holidays that I announced two different deadlines for the Shares. For that reason, I have extended the deadline to tomorrow. Tomorrow, Wednesday the 4th, is the last day you can reserve your spot
for my Paper and/or Ribbon Share. Shares are a great way to get a sample of everything without having to buy everything. You get one fourth of each paper pack or spool of ribbon (thus, sharing the packs with others). Sometimes, all you need is the share
portion to make the projects you want or see. Sometimes you fall in love with a sample and then you know you want to get more. All Shares will be labeled (shown above is last year's Paper share) with the name of the Paper Pack and coordinating colors, to make it easier
for you when you are creating. All details, sign up and payment information are in this link - www.mailsomethingpretty.com/share.
