Every Sunday morning, I try to watch the CBS Sunday Morning show. I like it because they always highlight good people, good stories and interesting/entertaining information. This past Sunday did not disappoint.
Steve Hartman, reporter of feel good news (in my opinion), did a story on how every month, a decorated envelope (that contained a receipt from a paid bill) made a positive difference in someone's life.
It reminded me of what we do with our handmade cards. We make people happy. Our cards let people
know we care, are thinking of them or just to send a smile or nice thought.
Texts, emails and even phone calls have their place, but there's nothing like getting a work of art in the mailbox.
Have you ever sent a bill payment in a handmade card? I challenge you to do it. You may never hear back from them, but I bet you make their day and put a smile on their face. I've sent tuition payments in handmade cards. No discounts have come out of it, but you never know 😊
