I love this sentiment "sending sunshine & rainbows". Â It can be used for so many reasons: get well, hello, thinking of you, birthday, thank you, just because.......
Â
It would have worked perfectly with the Sale-a-bration rainbow paper or rainbow bundle we had a year or so ago. Â But, if you don't have any sheets left over, I came up with an easy way of creating your own rainbow.
Â
Follow the steps below to see how easy it is. Â And when you get to the photo of the inside, get ready for a surprise.
Glue 3/4" strips diagonally onto the front of a card base. Â Mine is positioned in the landscape position, but portrait will work just as well. Â The Silicone mat comes in handy when glueing the strips to catch any extra glue.
Â
When the glue is dry, turn the card over and cut the hanging strips with scissors or your paper trimmer
Â
Are you ready for the surprise?????
Â
This is an "Explosion Card". Â Since June is 15% off Designer Series Paper, I wanted to show a fun way of using it. Â
Keep reading to see how to create an your
own Explosion Card.
Â
Side View. Â I love how you get to see both sides of the paper.
Â
I made an Explosion Card with
my Club last summer and it was a big hit. Â They could all see how versatile this technique was and made many more.
