Â
During my live last week I mentioned that this week is Thinking of You Week. It's time to mail those cards you have sitting in your boxes or on your shelves.
Â
Sending "thinking of you" cards does not need to be for a sad occasion. Â You may have seen something that reminded you of a friend, recently made a recipe a friend/family member gave you, want to show appreciation or say thank you, have lost touch or want to say a simple hello.
Â
There are all sorts of reasons to mail cards, here are just
a few of them: https://www.thinkingofyouweekusa.com/inspiration/
Â
I challenge you to mail or hand deliver some of the cards in your stash. Â I'll be mailing some of mine as well.
Send a Card, Deliver a
Smile
With the events of the last couple of years, many people have discovered, or rediscovered, the pleasure and comfort that greeting cards and hand-written notes can bring as a way of keeping in touch with friends and family. Scientists have studied people’s brains as they open a piece of hand-written personal mail and observed how the pleasure waves just light up!
Thinking of You Week is an international movement to celebrate the joy of sending and receiving hand-written notes and greeting cards.
Between September 18-24, 2023 help us create a wave of happiness across the globe by letting people know that we’re “Thinking of You”.
Thinking of You Week is all
about the personal touch!Â
