I was having a phone conversation with someone last week about finding posts on facebook she wanted to find/save/remember.  I thought I would share a few ideas & tips on this topic in case you had the same question/desire too.

If you find a post on facebook that you want to remember/save, you can do a couple of things:

1. Visit that person's/company's page and scroll down through their posts to find it.  This could take a long time depending on how many posts a day/week they post.
2. Share the post to your own page.

How to Save to Your Own Page:

Click "Share" as shown above and then:

Click one of the following options:

• "Share now (public)" will automatically share to your personal page.
• "Share to a Feed" will give you the option of typing something to go along with the post and then post to your personal page.

With both of these options, the post you wanted to save/remember will be posted on your personal page.  You can scroll through your own page to find it at any time.

I save posts this next way:

Saving a Facebook Post:

You can save a facebook post in a folder on your personal page and refer to later.  

Follow these steps:

1.  Click the three dots on the post you want to save.

2.  Click Save.  It may say "save product", "save link", "save post", etc. depending on what type of post it is.

3.  If this is your first time saving, you will only have the "new collection" option listed.  Click this and create a folder name.  Afterwards, all of the folders you created will be listed and shown each time you want to save.  You can save the post to an existing folder or create new ones.

Finding Your Saved Posts:

1.  On the left sidebar of your personal facebook page, you will have choices.  If you do not see "Saved" listed, click "See More".

2.  Scroll down until you see "Saved" and click.

All of your folders (collections) will be listed on the left side.  Click the folder you want to go into.  Or, ALL of your saved posts will be listed on the right side.  Scroll down until you find the one you want.

To Delete a Saved Post:

If you don't want to save the post any more, click the three dots for that post and then click "Unsave".  That post will no longer be listed in your folder/collection.

I hope this tutorial on saving facebook posts was helpful to you and saves you lots and lots of time looking for something.  I would rather you use that time to create something!!!!
