Cookie Dough Prep
- Make up your favorite cookie dough and roll into logs, about 8-9" long. Chocolate chip, sugar or ginger molasses would all work perfectly.
- Wrap in plastic and chill for at least 2 hours.
- Pre-cut slices and wrap in freezer paper.
- Wrap the roll with decorative paper and add a festive tag (with baking instructions).
- Put
into your freezer until you are ready to gift.
- You may even want to make one or two extra to have on hand for "just in case" reasons. If you don't end up using it, you have cookie dough all prepped for yourself!
To Make the Tag
1. Cut the second from largest scallop rectangle from the
Scalloped Contour dies with Basic White.
2. In the landscape position, score halfway through the sixth scallop bump. By doing this, when you fold the shape, all of the scallop bumps will be in alignment.
