You may have noticed my email was late today and I did not appear live at my usual time. My town experienced an extremely windy & rainy storm yesterday and we lost power in the morning and it's not expected to be up & running until tomorrow at noon (fingers crossed that was an over-estimation and we get it back sooner).
Luckily (if I dare to say that) we are experienced in losing power (I live among many old & tall pine trees) and are prepared with candles, these awesome lumin
AID solar lanterns (great gift idea), solar/crank radio, head lamps (for reading), wood stove and gas cooking top. We are totally fine and I'm at my parents house for about an hour stealing their WIFI. I even did some crafting in the dark with these solar lanterns.
So, in "light" of what's happening, this email will reiterate the timely happenings for December (which I probably would have done anyways).
