You may have seen this fold with mini calendars or post-it notes affixed to the front.  But who says we can't use this tent fold for a card?  (I've been thinking of another way to use this fold too, but that's for another day).  As you will see, you can use any paper and stamp combination for this card.  It's one that asks to be displayed on a mantle or table top because it stands up so well.

Week 6 - Tent Fold

Instructions

1. Cut Pretty Peacock card stock, 4-1/4" x 11" and score in half at 5-1/2".  
2. Cut second piece of Pretty Peacock card stock, 4-1/4″ x 5″, scored at 1″, 2-1/2″ and 4″.  Fold into a W shape.  Adhere to card base as shown.

3.  Cut patterned paper, 4" x 5-1/5" and adhere to front of card base.

4.  Using Stampin' Write Markers, color the words and stamp onto Basic White card stock. (Be sure to "huff" on inked stamp before pressing on to paper.  This will re-moisten any dried ink before stamping).

5.  Cut this stamped image with Scallopped Contours dies and adhere to front of card with Dimensionals.

6.  Wrap some Linen Thread around the inside and outside of front of card and tie a bow.

For the back of card: cut a piece of Basic White 4" x 5-1/4".  Cut 1" x 4" patterned paper and adhere to bottom of white.  Stamp sentiment (I used Merry Christmas from Beary Cute stamp set, 162016 and Cherry Cobbler ink).  Adhere to card. This is where you will write your greeting and sign.
