Hooray!  March is National Craft Month!  A designated month to do what we all love doing - making things.  I know we don't really need a specific month to tell us to craft, but sometimes things get in our way and crafting gets pushed aside. Make this March your month to get back into doing and making the things you love.  It's also a great time (and excuse) to introduce your friends to crafting.  

Finish up the projects that have been set aside (we all have them), learn something totally new, challenge yourself with a new technique or tool, use up some of your paper stash, or how about using the stamp set you bought but haven't quite used yet?

Be sure to set aside and schedule some time this month to do the things you love - it's a national movement after all.

For this fun box, I used the Everyday Details bundle (the largest rectangle) for the lid & base and then created a simple inner top & bottom box to attach to the lid & base.

The top photo is a bit elegant and would be great to place on the adults table (maybe stuffed with chocolate covered nuts).  The bottom photo is a bit more whimsical with the Bunny Punch and would be great for the kids table (maybe stuffed with jelly beans).

Both boxes are made the same way.  You can use any rectangle die or even cut one with your paper trimmer (although I do love all those dots from the Everyday Details dies).

Today I'm going to use the bright, cheery & new Simply Zinnias paper.  I don't have the corresponding stamp set (yet), but I'm going to show you that you can turn the flowers from the Color & Contour stamp set into Zinnias - yay!
