Every
so often Stampin' Up! offers extra incentives for joining the company as a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator. Some are good and some are FANTASTIC.
The joining kit all by itself is a great deal, but the extra incentives sort of "sweeten the pot".
May's extra incentives are pretty FANTASTIC! You
get all five new In Color ink pads, a pack of In Color Designer Series Paper, a pack of Assorted In Color card stock and all five In Color Stampin' Write Markers! All of this adds up to $82 and you get it for for free with your joining kit!
There are many different reasons for joining Stampin' Up! They range from wanting the deal of the joining kit, wanting the 20-25% discount on future orders, wanting to share your love of paper crafting with others to wanting to turn your love of this hobby into a business (small to big business).
Join for the reason that works for you!
I would say at least 80% of people joined Stampin' Up! because they wanted a discount on products they already love. Very few join to be a leader or create a business. Some
decide to go in the teaching classes/leader/business direction after some time and some remain hobbyists.
I can help you be whatever kind of demonstrator you wish to be.

Doing What You Love
One of the best things about being a Stampin' Up Demonstrator is that I get to have a business
doing what I love.
There aren't a lot of businesses or jobs you can say that about. I consider myself very fortunate that I can spend quality time not only working on improving my own paper crafting skills, but passing that knowledge on to others, as well. It's very fulfilling.
If you'd like a business doing what YOU love, I would encourage you to learn more about joining me and become a Stampin' Up
Demonstrator yourself.
It's easy to get started and if you'd like to learn more, let's schedule a phone call. I would be happy to chat with you about any of your questions or concerns.
What do I need to do after I join? How do I stay active?
To remain an active Demonstrator, you will need to meet quarterly sales minimums of $300. This amount can be from your purchases, someone who orders from you, or a combination of the
two.
If you join in May, your first quarter won't begin until the following quarter (July 1). This means you'll have until September 30 to meet your first quarterly minimum of $300.
There is always a pending month after the quarter closes in case you do not meet the minimum for one quarter.
If you don't meet the minimum during a quarter or pending month, then your status will become
dropped. There are no penalties and you don't have to send any product back.
How can I increase the 20% discount (income) to 25%?
Once your sales reach the $1800 mark, your discount & income will increase to 25%. Everyone who joins Stampin' Up! begins at the Bronze level. This percentage increase will also promote you to the Bronze Elite level.
You also have the option of earning "volume rebates". If you sell/purchase $600 in one month, then you will earn 4% of the total sales amount for that month.
There are other ways of earning more that I would be happy to talk with you about if you are interested (I just don't want to give information overload here).
Why join now?
Quote "The best time to start was yesterday. The next best time is now". - Unknown
Anytime is a great time to join. But now is a great time because Stampin'
Up! has the In Color Product incentive.
The regular joining/starter kit is $99 & includes:
$125 of products (you choose anything you want)
Free shipping (valued at $17)
a complimentary Paper Pumpkin Kit (valued at $22)
a box of catalogs to
share
During May, your joining/starter kit includes the above PLUS you choose one of the two options:
$82 worth of new In Color Products (5 ink pads, a pack of In Color Designer Series Paper, a pack of Assorted In Color card stock & all 5 In Color Stampin' Write Markers)
Phew!
That's a lot of information and hopefully it was helpful and got you thinking about the MANY benefits of joining Stampin' Up! vs. being a customer. I know you already love the products, the color coordination and the high quality.
Again, I welcome your questions, concerns and excitement! Please send them my way and if you would like to have a phone chat, let's do it.
I have been a Demonstrator for 17 years and it has changed for me over those years to fit my family's schedule, lifestyle and my evolving goals. Being a
Demonstrator is definitely flexible & provides so many opportunities for creative, personal and business growth (if that's what you want). It is truly something I love doing and I look forward to many more years of being your Demonstrator (or maybe even team leader, if you decide to join too - I hope you do 😊).
Thank you for reading this far!

PS - I have a live today at 2pm EST. I hope you'll join me on either Facebook or YouTube. My plan is to show you reverse stamping by making some kissing birds from the new Country Birdhouse stamp set - perfect for an anniversary or wedding.
