Last week I introduced the new Color Coach (wheel) #166481 which is now available for purchase.  I also talked about the three different color combinations the wheel shows on my live - you can watch the replay if you missed it.

I asked you to vote on two different complimentary color combinations and I have to tell you, the voting was close!  Color combination A won by only one vote.

Combination A included colors: Poppy Parade, Flirty Flamingo, Petal Pink, Calypso Coral AND Coastal Cabana, Lost Lagoon, Pretty Peacock & Shaded Spruce.

I chose to use Petal Pink, Calypso Coral & Pretty Peacock.  Even though the wheel suggested more colors, 8 colors on one card is a bit much.  I also heavily relied on the neutral white for this card.  Neutrals are really important because they help with balance, calmness or to help the other colors pop.

Here's the card I made.  It's a mini card - 3" x 3".  Even though Stampin' Up! no longer sells mini envelopes, I still love to make minis because they are great as gift toppers, tags or to put them on top of a baked good.  You can easily put them in a larger envelope or even create your own.  Don't forget about making them!

I will admit when I posted this challenge that I had a card design in mind (see it below) and I choose the two color combinations I may use.  I did not take into consideration the pattern papers I had and this proved to be quite a challenge for my stash!

I also know I used quite a bit of supplies for this mini card.  You can easily substitute or eliminate products to make a very similar card.

I highly recommend keeping your black ink, whether Memento Black of StazOn Black re-inked.  I'm hoping you can see the difference here of the re-inked birds on the bottom which are so much more vibrant & crisp than the top ones.

I don't want those who voted for B to come away disappointed!  I made a card version for you too 🤗

Combination B colors were: Daffodil Delight, Lemon Lolly, Very Vanilla AND Blackberry Bliss, Gorgeous Grape & Highland Heather

I chose to use Daffodil Delight, a touch of Lemon Lolly, Night of Navy & Blackberry Bliss.  I also used two neutrals, a little Smoky Slate on the wing and Basic White.  I guess you could consider the Linen Thread as a neutral too for both of the cards.

As I mentioned last week, the Bird's Eye View stamp set is one of my favorites.  My son was walking by when I was making these cards and he said "cute birds!"

It looks like these colors are based on the Analogous Color Combination.  She chose to use only two colors: Bubble Bath and Petal Pink.  Her neutrals are Basic White, Gray & Black.
