December 2024 Newsletter - Christine Josti, Independent Stampin' Up! Demonstrator
It's been a busy week online as I'm sure your email inbox can attest to. I think the shorter time between Thanksgiving and Christmas (one week less than last year) has everyone scrambling. That
also means there is one week less for Christmas preparations. Driving around prior to Thanksgiving, I couldn't believe the amount of Christmas and greens decorations I saw already up. If you need any help getting your cards and projects ready this year, please reach out to me and I'll do my
elf's best!
I discovered this helpful tip from Mimi who is in my night Stamp Club. This tip will definitely help eliminate all those little hexagon dimensional backings from going everywhere. We all have them everywhere, right? Take some packing tape and place it on top of a brand new sheet of dimensionals (you may have to use two lengths depending on the thickness of your tape). Leave a little overhang on two sides (you can stick on itself to create two non-sticky handles). When you want to use a dimensional, lift up the packing tape and remove a dimensional. The backing, that you will usually take off individually, will stick to the packing tape. Each dimensional you use
will be sticky with no backings to remove. Brilliant!
I placed two layers of packing tape over the top of one sheet of dimensionals. I left an overlap to use as a handle.
When you lift the handle, the backings stick to the packing tape and you can remove a dimensional that is sticky.

I think that amount tied the record from a past Mystery Host Party. 🥳 🎉 🙌 ▶️ Use host code YPFD7AE4 when ordering (products under
$150) and I'll keep track. If we get enough orders to qualify for Stampin' Rewards, I'll enter anyone who used this host code in for a Mystery Host Party.
Today is Giving Tuesday For the past few years, Stampin' Up! has highlighted a special "Making a Difference" product. $3 from each item sold is given to a designated charity. This year, the Sentimental Christmas Designer Series Paper and Suite is the Making a Difference
selection. Stampin' Up! will add up all the $3's and donate the sum to Children's Literacy. This program will run until the end of the Holiday catalog. Sentimental Christmas paper and suite
New Product Retirement System & It Begins Today Stampin' Up! will be handling the retirement of products a little differently going forward: - Will be sold in this category while supplies last and will be discontinued when they sell out.
- May or may not
have discounts, depending on inventory.
- Will be updated every two months, near the beginning of each month, with more products and with discounts on some of those products (in February, April, June, August, October, and December).
- Will replace the current Last Chance and Clearance Rack promotions.
Here are just a few benefits of the new process: - Popular items can stick around longer and gives us more flexibility to restock
inventory.
- Last Chance Products will update on a consistent, predictable schedule, every two months.
- Consistently discontinuing products makes room for more new products.
From Stampin' Up!: We
love offering you the best in paper crafting! To do that and keep our product offering fresh, trendy, and relevant, we regularly evaluate product performance. As demand for a product changes, we’ll move products to our Last Chance Products category in the online store and begin the retiring process to make room for new products. Our Last Chance Products will be an ongoing offer, so you can shop this category at any time throughout the year! Visit the online store to see the new Last Chance Products section
I haven't done an "unboxing" in a long time, how about we do one today? I've pre-ordered several new products from the upcoming catalog, including Sale-a-bration products that I want to show you (because I know you will love them). I promise not to break the seal of the boxes until I go live!!!! These products will not go on sale until January 7, but I had
to pre-order them early so I can get started making samples. You can watch live at 2pm EST (or replay) on Facebook and YouTube: FB - https://www.facebook.com/mailsomethingpretty/ YouTube - https://mailsomethingpretty.com/YouTube
Seasonal Cards Can Be Mailed After Christmas!
Want to make handmade holiday cards but you don't think they'll be ready and mailed in time for Christmas? Why not make seasonal cards instead? You can mail them anytime during the season, not by a specific date. I love the More than Autumn bundle because it's seasonal for both fall & winter. Really it can
be used all year long because coffee & latte drinkers drink those drinks all year long and who doesn't love donuts & pie all year long?!? You can watch my video making this card and make it exactly the same, or switch it up by changing the colors and patterns. More than Autumn bundle #164076
Here's a few of the cards I have made using this bundle. There are TONS of examples online.
