12 Weeks of Christmas

This project can be adapted with any color and pattern paper as well as the label you create to go on top. Complete versatility! It can also be a stamp free project if you cut an image from patterned paper, like I did with these super cute penguins. Keep the template for birthday and thank you gifts too.

Week 10 - Holders for Gift Cards, Cash & Checks

Stamps:

Any stamps you wish, I used the Peaceful Season Bundle #164021 for the sentiment.

Paper:

Ink:

Measurements:

Base: 4-1/4″ x 9″, scored at 2-1/4″ & 5-3/4″
Belly Band: 1-1/4″ x 11″
Front patterned paper: 4″ x 3″
Bottom inside patterned paper: 4″ x 2″
Top inside patterned paper: 4″ x 3″

Instructions:

Cut all of your pieces according to the measurements above.
Fold on the base score lines.
Adhere pattern pieces to front and inside.
Adhere together the bottom flap just below the score line (see photo below). This will create a pocket for your gift. You can also opt to not adhere the bottom flap so they open it entirely.
Wrap belly band around the base. You can either have the seam in the back or front where it will be hidden by your label.
Cut out penguin with medallion shape die.
Cut out larger scallop circle in Basic White. Adhere these two together.
With dimensionals, adhere your penguin on top of belly band.
Stamp greeting in Garden Green ink onto Basic White. Cut out with matching dies and adhere to inside of holder.
