October 2024 Newsletter - Christine Josti, Independent Stampin' Up! Demonstrator
Do you have a favorite season? I live in New England where we have four distinct seasons. It's hard for me to pick a favorite because there's something wonderful to find in each one (and some not
so great things too). Fall has just begun and there is no mistaking it. The colors of the leaves are turning vibrant yellow and orange, the nights are cool and the days are a mix of shorts and pants wearing weather. It's truly a beautiful time of year. But, this beautiful fall season will be over in a flash. Especially because the winter holidays are not far away and I'm sure you have seen evidence of that in the stores. In fact, my 12 Weeks of Christmas series begins tomorrow! As a
subscriber to my mailing list, you will automatically receive 12 exclusive Christmas ideas for cards, gifts, tags & wrapping. I suggest creating a specific folder in your email system to save these 12 ideas for when you are ready to create them. You will not be able to find them anywhere online as they will only be emailed to you.

Join Stampin' Up! in October & Get More in your Joining Kit
Stampin' Up!'s new year begins today! Hip hip hooray! To kick off our new year, Stampin' Up! is offering a great incentive to join. Anytime of year is a great time to join Stampin' Up!, but if you join in October, you'll get to add even more products in your joining kit. Pay the regular price of $99, but instead of choosing $125 in products, you get to choose $155 in products (all for only $99)!!! You'll also get free shipping, a complimentary Paper Pumpkin kit and catalogs to share inside your joining kit. That's a value of $215. Any future orders you place will be with a 20% discount. Anyone who orders with you earns you 20% income on that order. After a certain threshold is met, that 20% increases to 25%. After you join Stampin' Up!, you'll have access
to demonstrator-only Stampin' Up! website and facebook pages, weekly emails from both Stampin' Up! and me, product pre-orders, sneak peeks, events, a whole community of paper crafters and direct contact with me, as your team leader (our team is called the Wicked Stampahs). Many people ask me what the requirements are to stay an active demonstrator and receive the discount/income opportunities. As long as you meet the $300 quarterly minimum, you will remain active and receive all the benefits. If you were to join this month (October), your first quarter won't begin until January, which means you have between the day you join and March 30, 2025 to reach that $300 minimum. Your next quarter would resume the normal time frame and be from April 1 - June 30. There is no penalty if you do not meet the minimums. You are given one
month with a pending status, (to try to reach the minimum) and if you do not, you will become dropped and resume a customer status. No need to return anything. I would be happy to chat with anyone who may be interested, has questions, wants to know more about the benefits of joining and remaining a demonstrator. I have been a demonstrator for over 17 years and have loved every minute of it. I joined as a hobby &
selling a few cards at craft shows. What I did (and currently do) grew over time to fit around our family's evolving needs. Please reply back so we can schedule a time to chat over the phone (or feel free to send any questions via email). I have more information written on this post: https://mailsomethingpretty.com/thinking-about-joining-stampin-up/
New Subscribers to Paper Pumpkin get 40% off October's Kit If you subscribe to Paper Pumpkin for the first time, you’ll get 40% off October’s kit! The regular price of Paper Pumpkin is $25/month (which includes shipping). You must
subscribe by October 10 to get the sale price. Be sure to use promo code HOLIDAY40.
What is Paper Pumpkin & How Does it Work?Paper Pumpkin is a monthly paper crafting subscription box that will save you time and money and eventually build up a collection of versatile Stampin’ Up! crafting supplies (stamps & inks). Your first kit comes with a FREE, clear stamping block to use on all stamps you will receive. Every
box will contain all the materials you need to craft with ease, from adhesive to precut paper to fun embellishments. Each month’s project will be completely different. All you need to do is follow the instructions and assemble the pieces to create a card or project. You can also use the materials to create your own project instead of the suggested one, let your creativity flow! In each box you will receive a unique stamp set, at least one ink spot (a
mini sized Stampin’ Up! ink pad), adhesive, all papers and embellishments for that project. All for only $25 a month AND this includes shipping! The stamp sets can be used on all kinds of future crafting projects. No ink color will be repeated in a 12-month period, so you’ll quickly collect a variety of reusable stamps and ink spots. Re-inkers can be purchased to keep your inks usable in the future too (in case you forget to put the lid
on). Discount Details:Where This Discount Is Applied This discount will be applied to one kit in the first kit shipment of the Paper Pumpkin subscription, which means new subscribers will get 40% off the October Nests of Christmas Paper Pumpkin Kit. After that, each month’s kit will return to the regular price of $25.00.
Qualifying for This Discount This offer is only for new
month-to-month subscribers and is not valid on purchased or redeemed prepaid subscriptions. So if you have previously used an email address for a Paper Pumpkin subscription, you won’t qualify as a new subscriber to receive this discount. Also, anyone who signs up as a new subscriber to Paper Pumpkin but cancels by October 10 will not receive any kits or discounts. Visit www.paperpumpkin.com for details on the Paper Pumpkin subscription program (they have lots of answers to your questions). You can subscribe from there (please choose me, Christine Josti, as your demonstrator) too.

Last week I shared a Stampin' Up! Creative Challenge card on my Facebook page and I thought I would take up the challenge & duplicate the card (with some substitutions). Join me today to see how I do. I know we'll both be learning some tips along the way. Watch today live at 2pm ET, or watch the replay whenever it's
convenient for you. Lives are streamed to both Facebook & YouTube: FB - https://www.facebook.com/mailsomethingpretty/ YouTube - https://mailsomethingpretty.com/YouTube I go live every Tuesday at 2pm ET and every last Thursday at 8pm ET for a monthly Global live stamping with my Australian Demonstrator crafting friend Ann. Last Thursday was our September joint live and we both created fun projects using the Nests of Winter Collection. She made a birch themed bridge card and I made notebooks using different patterns of the bird papers. You can Watch the replay here if you missed it live.
A few of you have recently told me that you are or will be selling your handmade cards at craft fairs and in stores. That's great!
