At my last Club meeting, we were discussing the differences in this year's paper catalog vs. previous years. If you have been around for a few years, I'm sure you have noticed some of the differences too.

Some changes you may like & love (the three distinct sections, the template sketches and/or larger pictures of the new suites) and some you may be missing the extensive product listing. The major reason for this year's catalog refresh is to make the catalog less overwhelming and more welcoming for beginner and new paper crafters.

For those of us who are not beginners and like to see EVERYTHING that is available in one place, particularly in a catalog you can hold in your hands, this change has been a bit hard to adjust to.

Stampin' Up! has heard your feedback, both positive and constructive, and will incorporate some them into future annual catalogs.

Paper catalogs are never going away! Despite some rumors you may have heard. (And I heard that straight from the top).

For the time being, Stampin' Up! has created a document that you can save on your computer that lists all Designer & Specialty papers, dies and punches that are offered. This list keeps them all in one place (other than the online store). It's a bit long to print and would use up too much ink, so I suggest bookmarking it or saving this email for reference.

I was listening to a podcast the other day and the guest was Ken Coleman, who is the author of Find the Work You're Wired To Do. I think I'm going to buy this book for my daughter who will be graduating this year as a math major and doesn't know exactly what she wants to do (she does know what she doesn't want to do so that's a good starting point). The topic resonated me and affirmed that I am doing exactly what I was meant to do - teaching you all how to stamp, make cards & paper related projects, and providing an enthusiastic, friendly, encouraging, mistake-safe and welcoming community.

His mission statement reminds me a whole lot of Stampin' Up!'s Mission Statement (or as they refer to it, Statement of the Heart). What do you think?
