Happy New Year!!!

When my son was just a toddler, he loved wishing anyone he came in contact with a bold "happy new year" greeting, all the way into March! I was thinking of that memory this weekend when I wished the Trader Joes clerk a Happy New Year and as I write that to you now. I kind of like it 😊 why should our well wishes stop after the first is over? I wish you kindness, good health, peace and all good things for this new year.

As you'll be reading, today is a very big day with the launching of 5 different types of products and a fabulous join incentive. I've had some great feedback on the card making Guide I created to support my daughter's college softball team. Thank you!!! It's still available. The guide gives you a card making prompt for each day of the year. You get 13 pages of card making & sending prompts!!!

Storybook Friends

I don't know about you, but I was a huge Peter Rabbit & Beatrix Potter fan when I was growing up. I loved the miniature hard cover books that I took out from the library each week. There were so many different books and stories that there was always a new book to check out.

When I saw the Storybook Moments suite, I immediately thought of those books and stories and fell in love again with the soft colors and cute characters. Now that I have my own garden, I also love all of the garden tools and vegetables images.

According to my 365-Days of Card Making and Sending Ideas Guide, yesterday was National Cuddle Day. It was a perfect day for that prompt because where I live is predicted to be a very cold week. The guide said to "Send a card with a cozy winter image or a heartfelt note" so I made these two heartfelt cards using the Storybook Friends bundle.

These two cards were pretty quick and easy to put together because I relied on the pre-printed die cuts included in the Storybook Moments Designer Series Paper (you get 2 full sheets of hand painted characters).

Storybook Moments is a mega suite which includes TONS of coordinating products. You can purchase the entire suite or break it down into two bundles, two packs of papers, ribbon and pearl gems. I'm going to have a lot of fun playing with these characters and garden tools over the next few months. It's perfect for springtime, Easter, baby, and friendship cards.

The other bundle included in the suite (you can purchase everything separately too) is called Storybook Garden. I haven't even opened mine yet, but this is what it looks like. As you can see, you can use both bundles together or on their own.

In Person Stamp Club

The Stamp Club sign up deadline is tomorrow. Stamp Club will be at my home studio in Norwell Massachusetts. If you are local to me, I hope you'll consider joining Stamp Club! For those who are not local to me, I have exciting things planned for you too in 2025.

The Monday morning session has filled up, but I have opened up another option:

- 2nd Monday of the month at 7pm

- 2nd Tuesday of the month at 10 am

Club will be in-person (at my house) and for a six month commitment. I do a six month round instead of year round because there are members who go away for the winter or summer and this gives you more flexibility.
You will have the choice to either place a $30 catalog (any products) order at the class or pay a $20 class fee. You can switch it up month to month.
As a Club member, you will get to attend the exclusive Club Class, get the new catalogs first and use new products early.
If you miss a meeting, I’ll either make up a kit for you or complete the card/project depending on what is involved.
Videos will be made up for all of the projects for everyone to see (whether or not you are part of Club). Club members get the supplies to make the projects.
Club class is a great way to socialize with other creators. We always learn from each other and have a great time together.
We will meet the second Monday of the month, except in March because I will be away. We’ll decide which date it will be at the January meeting.

Monday Club Dates: January 13, February 10, March 3 or 17, April 14, May 12 and June 9, 2025.

Tuesday Club Dates: January 14, February 11, March 4 or 18, April 15, May 13 and June 10, 2025.
