You will amaze people if you make this box!  It will look like it came from a specialty chocolate shop.  Put any type of chocolates inside.  I made some chocolate covered Oreos for one box (holds 4) and used the delicious Ghirardelli chocolate squares for the other (holds 8).  

Keep these directions on hand for Valentines Day too!

Supplies

Stamp Sets: Keeping Traditions #166806

Inks: Shaded Spruce #147088, Real Red #147084, Cherry Cobbler #147083 & Secret Sea #165285

Paper: Oreo box used Traditions of Christmas Specialty Designer Series Paper #165853.  Ghirardelli box used Elegant Pine Snowflakes Designer Series Paper #166066.  Basic White Card stock #166780.

Other: Window Sheets #142314, Stylish Shapes dies #159183, Bone Folder #102300, Multipurpose Liquid Glue #110755 & Stampin’ Dimensionals #104430, Score Board #122334 will be helpful, otherwise use scorer with Paper Trimmer, Paper Trimmer #152392 and Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine #149653.

Oreo box used Real Red Shiny Ribbon #165876.

Ghirardelli box used Shaded Spruce & Gold Edged Ribbon #166078.  

Non-SU: Chocolate covered Oreos (homemade or store bought) and/or Ghirardelli chocolate squares.

Measurements

• Designer Series Paper pattern of your choice (a non-directional paper works well): 12” x 7-1/4”.
• Window Sheet: 12” x 4-1/4”

Instructions Box Base 

(Directions are shown in a solid color, but I used a pattern piece for my box).

1. Score 12” x 7-1/4” sheet of pattern paper as follows:
   1. Portrait direction: 3/4”, 1-1/2”, 5-3/4” & 6-1/2”
   2. Landscape direction: 2-1/4”, 3”, 3-3/4”, 8”, 8-3/4” & 9-1/2”
2. Cut off four corners (as shown in photo) and leave the middle tabs with slits up to score line.

3.  Fold burnish all score lines.

4.  Fold in the two tabs, add glue and adhere to side.

5.  Glue two sides around tabs (to create a box base).

6.  Fold in and adhere two other larger sides, burnish all sides to create a short sided box base.

Instructions Window Sheet Cover Sleeve

1. Score the 12” x 4-1/4” Window Sheet at 2-7/8”, 3-3/4”, 8-1/8” & 9.  A Score Board will let you score a deeper mark than a Paper Trimmer, but if you don’t have a Score Board, then try to score/press heavily to make a mark

2. Place Tear & Tape along one of the short edges (before folding).

3. Burnish along the scored lines with bone folder.

4. Place chocolates inside the box and wrap the Window Sheet around the box (with edges on bottom).  Seal.

Instructions Tags (decorate however you wish)

1. Stamp holly with Shaded Spruce and berries with Real Red onto scrap white paper.
2. Cut out with scissors.
3. Stamp greeting with either Secret Sea (as in Holly Jolly) or Cherry Cobbler (as in make Merry) onto scrap white and cut out with appropriate die from Stylish Shapes.
4. Tie bow around box.
5. Add greeting with dimensional.
