This Tri-fold card can be decorated and used in so many ways.  Use it as a gift card or cash holder by tucking in the gift behind the inside flap, use it as a card and write a message on the inside or use it as both, a card and a gift holder!

This card design is a great one for using up your pattern paper stash - go ahead and mix & max your paper packs, or copy exactly as I did with the very striking Modern Christmas Specialty Designer Series Paper.

Measurements

• Base – 4-1/4″ x 9″, scored at 2-1/4″ & 5-3/4″
• Belly Band – 1-1/4″ x 11″
• Front patterned paper – 4″ x 3″
• Inside patterned paper – 4″ x 2″
• Belly Band pattern paper – 4″ x 1″ (shown in gold foil)
• Optional inside white (top) 4″ x 3″ or middle inside 4″ x 3-1/4″

Instructions

1. On base, fold on score lines.
2. Pay attention to direction of paper and adhere front and inside papers to base (so that it is in the correct direction when the card is closed).
3. Decide if you want a top or center white piece.  Stamp and adhere accordingly.
4. Stamp Santa with Memento Black Ink.  Color with Blends Markers and cut out with Santa die.
5. Adhere Santa to either inside or on top of belly band.
6. Close card with either ribbon tied in a knot or belly band.

My philosophy on Christmas card making is to keep it simple and easily duplicatable.  Many of us make multitudes of holiday cards and there is no way we can spend an hour on each card.
