This project was designed prior to the Traditions of Christmas Designer Paper going on back order (it's expected back in the week of December 15th).  Feel free to substitute any paper your wish. 

This is a great gift bag to give to a hostess, neighbor, book club or anyone you just want to give a little something to.  And it comes together pretty easily and is fully customizable.  Save the directions and use it for all occasions throughout the year.  Enjoy!

Measurements

• Traditions of Christmas Designer Series Paper (for bag):  8” x 12”
• Gold Foil Sheets (die cut tag): 3” x 4”
• Real Red Card Stock (banner label):  2” x 4”
• Real Red Shiny Ribbon: 18”-20”

Instructions (Bag)

1. On the 12” side of the designer paper, score at 1 3/4”, 5 3/4”, 7 1/2”, 11 1/2”.
2. Turn the paper to score on the 6” side and score at 3/4” (top of bag) and 1 3/4” (bottom of bag)
3. Burnish all score lines, then cut up to 1 3/4” score on all score lines along bottom of the bag.
4. Cut off the narrow tab at the bottom formed by the 11 1/2” score.
5. On the bag bottom, fold in two side tabs then back tab. Put Tear & Tape on front tab and adhere to form bag bottom.
6. Pinch in the two sides of the bag at the top then punch two holes through both front and back of bag just above the 3/4 score line.
7. The ribbon will thread through these holes to tie a bow for the bag closure.
    

Instructions (Tag)

1. Using the Gold Foil, cut the largest label from the Traditional Labels Dies.
2. Using the Real Red Card Stock, die cut the curved label from the Traditional Labels Dies.
3. Stamp the Season’s Greetings sentiment in VersaMark ink on the Real Red Label.
4. Heat emboss this sentiment with white embossing powder.
5. Attach the sentiment label to the gold label with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
6. Apply Glue to back of gold label and adhere to lower front of the bag.
7. Apply three red Traditional Sparkling Sequins as desired near and on labels.

My philosophy on Christmas card making is to keep it simple and easily duplicatable.  Many of us make multitudes of holiday cards and there is no way we can spend an hour on each card.
