October 2025 Newsletter - Christine Josti, Independent Stampin' Up! Demonstrator
Trick or Treat? I'll go for the treat every time. Big "treats" are coming your way for the entire month of October. As you'll read below, Stampin' Up! is offering their "best join offer EVER". I joined almost 19 years ago and to be honest, no matter
what the join price is (I paid $150 to join), it's a good time to join. As I reflect back, my demonstrator journey has ebbed and flowed along with my family needs and how much time I had to put into it, but it always fulfilled my creative need and filled me with new friendships I never would have had otherwise. During this fabulous offer, I hope you consider joining Stampin' Up! & me. You'll also see more treats coming your way. I'll let you read all about them rather than put them all here in the beginning. Happy October! Christine
The Best Join Offer EVER!
During the month of October, you can join Stampin' Up! for an incredible low price while choosing lots of products! New team members who purchase a starter kit in month of October can choose between these two offers: - Pay $35 & choose $125 worth of
products!!!
- Pay $99 & choose $189 worth of products!!!
For both offers, you will receive free shipping on your kit plus one Paper Pumpkin crafting kit and a box of catalogs to share. Join right here!!! Why Should You Join & Become a Demonstrator?(everyone who joins receives the title of Demonstrator) - Community. Stampin’ Up! offers a space where a community of crafters from all over the world can connect and create together, both in person and virtually. I offer
my team of stampers support, coaching, monthly zoom meetings, quarterly swaps and direct access.
- Product. Unlike customers, demonstrators get early access to the latest releases and catalogs, as well a 20–25% product discount and commission.
- Experiences. Enjoy creative and fun crafting experiences and connections in a Demonstrator-only Facebook group.
- Empowerment. Being a demonstrator can mean so much more than just
crafting. It can also mean personal development and expanding your circle to include other people and new experiences.
- Inspiration. Stampin' Up! and other Demonstrators will inspire you to create, learn and "better your best" all throughout the year.
- Supplemental Income. Demonstrators have the potential to earn a modest and/or supplemental income and run their business on a flexible schedule. If you choose to turn your crafting hobby
into a business, I can help you.
- Perks. The first perk is this incredible join offer!
Stampin' Up! makes top quality, color coordinating paper crafting products. Join me and Stampin' Up! to begin your journey (wherever that may lead) as a Demonstrator. Top questions I receive about Demonstrator requirements: What are the
requirements of being a Demonstrator? - To continue to receive your discount and other demonstrator perks, you need to submit $300 in sales per quarter. Sales can be submitted in any amount—in other words, you don’t have to submit a $300 order all at once—and both your personal purchases and customer orders count toward your minimum. Exceptions include demonstrator business supply items, but nearly everything you purchase or sell will count. You can make these purchases
yourself, of course, but sharing the fun of stamping with others can help you meet your minimum sales requirement.
What happens if I don’t meet minimums or need to drop? Are there penalties? - If for any reason you decide to stop meeting your quarterly minimum sales requirement, you’ll lose your active status and “drop” as a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator. However, you will not be penalized and can sign up again any time! If you choose to
come back, you can re-join with your current team leader.
Do I have to sell or build a team? - No! Feel free to choose your own adventure and run your Stampin’ Up! business YOUR way! In fact, all it takes to remain an active demonstrator is meeting the quarterly sales requirement. If you prefer, you can place your own orders and/or collect orders from family and friends to equal the quarterly sales minimum.
- If you decide
that you’d like to build a team of your own, there are benefits! One of them is the friendships that you can enjoy as you share Stampin’ Up! experiences together. Another is being able to qualify for team commissions on product orders that your team member(s) submit.

New Classes with Stampin' Up!
Introducing Stampin' Up! Craft Classes. All classes will be virtual so anyone can attend. Their first class will focus on the Traditions of Christmas suite collection. Each class will be sold separately and focus on a different set of products.
This class is $30. The Traditions of Christmas Class will air live on October 23 at 4pm ET, 3pm CT, 2pm MT & 1pm PT on a private Facebook page. All videos, instruction, pictures and information will be stored on the private Facebook page and available for you to refer to whenever you wish. You can attend live, or watch the videos at your own convenience. You will be able to purchase the class beginning today and anytime before or after the class goes live on October 23. To have the best experience during this Class, you’ll need the following supplies (in addition to the Traditions of Christmas Suite Collection): PDF List of Supplies. The only samples I have seen from this class are below. I'm sure you can substitute some of the supplies/tools if you don't have everything. More Class details including the purchase link: Traditions of Christmas Craft Class #170073 Purchase: Traditions of Christmas Suite Collection #165877 NOTE: The entire suite is expected back in stock the week of October 6. You can add your email address on the store site to be notified when it's back. It's the sequins that are out of
stock which means you can still order all the other components separately (for the same price as the entire suite collection).
It's Beginning to Look like Sweater Weather This was one of the cards we made at my Creativity stamping event over the weekend. As a former knitter, I just loved this set (and knitted
a sweater very similar to it long ago). You can make cards, tags (especially if you are giving a knitted gift) and scrapbook pages with this set. And, it's a REVERSIBLE stamp! We didn't use it that way for this card, but you can use both sides of each stamp in this set. One side for all the details and the reverse side
for a solid background that lines up perfectly.
We used Watercolor pencils to color our sweaters and blended them together with the Blender Pens. These pens come three to a pack and double-tipped which means one pack will last you a very long time. There are two different sets of Watercolor pencils and between both packs, you have ever
color covered. No colors are duplicated between the packs. When blending the Watercolor pencils, you want to be sure to have used StazOn ink with your images so they don't bleed. No dies come with this set, so get out your favorite scissors for cutting. Stay Warm stamp set #165959 ($20) Watercolor Pencil Assortment 1 #161700 (13 pencils
$18) Watercolor Pencil Assortment 2 #149014 (10 pencils $14) Blender Pens #102845 (3 pens $14) StazOn Black ink #101406, $10)
On Thursday, my good friend Ann Lewis who is a demonstrator in Australia and I get together for a monthly, crafting live. Ann & I like to do these lives for a few reasons: - we love to hang out and craft together
- we love to share projects with you that we create with Stampin' Up! products
- we like to challenge each other
- we love to learn from each
other
- we love to be with you!
If you would like to watch a replay of our session together (I used a sponging technique and Ann made a new to me fun fold card), you can watch it here: https://www.youtube.com/live/yfpJ00-Zntk Our topic for this month
is: a handy technique that we "keep in our back pockets".
12 Day Crafting Countdown
Yesterday, I unboxed my 12 Day Crafting Advent Countdown Calendar on my live. It was very exciting and there are so many possibilities with what you can make with the included exclusive products! In the live, I only opened one door to show you what was inside. Not a total spoiler because I shared that it was pattern paper in a previous email. Watch
my 12 Day Crafting Advent Countdown Calendar Unboxing Video Included with the countdown box is a full photopolymer stamp set that can be used for all-occasion projects. All of the products included behind the doors of the calendar are also all-occasion and coordinate with each other. As I make my way through the calendar, I will create some projects to share with you. I think Stampin' Up! may do the same. Directions and tutorials do not come with the box, this is crafting left up to your imagination. I know the $99 price point may seem high, but there is over $120 of products included in the box, plus the stamp set. You could always include
this kit as part of your Starter Kit (joining incentive listed above). I did a little search online to show you some other high quality (just as this box is high quality) advent countdown kits.
