June 2026 Newsletter Christine Josti, Independent Stampin' Up! Demonstrator
Is your calendar overpacked for June??? I'm looking at mine and see there are more days filled in than blank. It's a busy month for graduations and their parties, end of year activities (if you have school aged children/grandchildren), weddings, not to mention
the regular house and yard work (pollen clean up) that needs to get done.......Be sure to schedule yourself some down time. Whether that's reading, gardening (I don't consider gardening yard work), going out for an ice cream, taking a relaxing or energizing walk and/or crafting. Enjoy the beginnings of summer and be sure some "time in the present" is included. There are lots of inspiring crafting activities that you can do. Hopefully, I'll give you some of that over the
month.
June's Product of the Month
Are you loving the new Product of the Month program? To recap, Stampin' Up! will introduce a new Product of the Month each month. So far, products have been exclusive papers, dies, stamp sets and specialty vellum. If you spend $75 or more on an order, you'll have the option of choosing a Product of the Month for
only $5. You have the option of choosing the newest product or a past one. Only one per customer (no matter which one you choose). They are while supplies last. June's option is this adorable Wild Bunch stamp
set. You can see all of the available Product of the Months HERE.
I asked & YOU Answered! Last week I asked YOU to "Ask Me Anything" to better help me write emails, posts and make videos YOU want to know or have the answers to. Thank
you to all who asked me questions. Some of the questions involved pattern papers, embossing folders, making 3D projects, masculine card ideas, how to get your crafting mojo back, ways of using vellum, heating too much or too little when heat embossing, and best adhesives to use. If you still have a question, please send it to me and
I'll add it to this great list. One person asked "How did the word "pumpkin" get attached to paper?" I'll answer this one right here and the others in following emails. The original Paper Pumpkin logo featured a pale blue Cinderalla-style pumpkin carriage with curling vines. Stampin' Up! used this fairy-tale-themed carriage motif from the brand's launch in March 2013 through May 2017. They had the thought that the kit would act as a fairy godmother and take you on a crafting journey. I was actually at the
unveiling of Paper Pumpkin at a Leadership conference in Orlando FL (my first SU event) and the crowd went wild. The kits have come a long way from the beginning, both in quality and the amount of projects you make. I think the first kit had supplies to make only 4 cards (my memory could be wrong, but it wasn’t that many). Now the kits make lots of projects and are top quality. Details of Paper Pumpkin kits are at the end of this newsletter. Here is the original logo:
I like how they kept a little bit of the curly q's as a nod to it's beginning.
Tip on Maximizing Paper When Die Cutting
When I was prepping all of the supplies for our Club class last month, I need to to cut enough circles out of the limited sheets of card stock I had. When looking at the 8-1/2" x 11" sheet of card stock, I thought I could only get 6 of the largest size circle (from my favorite Stylish Shapes dies) from the sheet. But I needed more
than six per sheet! Here's what I did to get eight:
I took my circle and flipped it over to the back side. I traced the outline of the die with a pencil in each of the four corners, very close to the edge of the card stock. Then I traced circles between those circles, close to the side edge of the card stock. I was then able to fit two more circles in the center of the paper.
I took scissors and cut around all the penciled outlines.
Flip the paper over (so you don't see the pencil marks) and cut each circle! The end result was I was able to have enough circles for my Club to make this cute "Fold Flat" gift bag.
If you want to see how to make this cute gift bag (it holds small things like square chocolates or chapstick), I'll be making the video soon. Stay tuned to my YouTube channel. If you subscribe to my
channel, you'll be notified each time I post a new video. This bag was inspired by fellow demonstrator Julie Dimatteo of the Paper Pixie.
Join me live today (or the replay anytime) for a tutorial on making a Diamond Fold Gatefold Card. Spoiler alert for anyone in my Club, this will be one of the projects we make next week. It's also based on a card Ann walked us through last month on our May "Let's Create Together" series. I've added a step and
pattern layer from her original design. Join me to see the differences. Watch live TODAY at 2pm ET (1pm Central, 12pm, MT & 11am PT) on YouTube: https://mailsomethingpretty.com/YouTube
I go live every Tuesday. I also go live every first Thursday with my friend Ann Lewis, demonstrator from Australia. That's this week! We do a joint "Let's Create Together" live at 8pm ET, 7pm CT, 6pm MT & 5pm PT. For these lives, I'll send out a measurements & supply list prior to the live. This
week's are here (you can also click on the link at the end of this email to print it):

Updated Last Chance List!
Every so often Stampin' Up! adds some of their previously released products to the Last Chance List. This place acts as a holding area before a product is discontinued and goes away. Some of these products have a new sale price. Take a look to see what has been added to the Last Chance list in case it's something that's been on your
wishlist (and it might even be on sale). Every so often I get asked if something is available and they unfortunately waited too long.
