It's been quite a
crazy two weeks at my house which has resulted in a bit of my social media silence and lack of card making. I had Ann laughing (with me) at all of our woes.......ran out of propane (which fuels our cooking stove/oven and dryer, found out we had a leaking water heater tank, our heat in our bedroom is stuck at 70 degrees (I keep it set at 61 so it's been HOT sleeping), had leaking into my son's bedroom and kitchen because of the ice dams and we have a bluejay problem. They keep pecking
at the window sills of my daughter's bedroom from 6-9am every morning. Who knew blue jays peck???
All but the blue jay issue has been solved, so if you know of a way to stop those blue jays from pecking at our house, I would love to hear them.
So far, we have put out irredescent mylar streamers (looks like a party outside her window), put out crushed, baked egg
shells (apparently they are calcium deficient this time of year which is why they want the paint chips) and put out whole, unsalted peanuts. I think the peanuts have now attracted more blue jays........
