It sure has been hot for the last few days - we hit a heat wave here in Massachusetts. My daughter's softball game was cancelled last night due to the heat. I don't think that has ever happened. Wherever you may live, please be sure to stay cool and hydrated. It really is the perfect weather for staying indoors, as long as you can be cool
indoors. Might I suggest crafting during these hot days??? Not that you needed an excuse (insert wink emoji).
I'm not sure if you have purchased the Playful Alphabet dies yet, but I encourage you to consider them. I have been having a lot of fun creating my own text to put on cards.
Here's a tip for lining up the letters - place them on lined or grid paper and then lay a piece of washi tape on top of them. You can pick up the whole "string" of letters and place on the card stock you want to cut. And you can reuse this string of letters over and over. Be sure to use both the negative and positive parts of the
letters.

Summertime Cards-to-Go Kits
Over the summer, members of one of my Garden Clubs have been touring member gardens in lieu of having meetings. This morning, members came to my garden (in the blazing 90 degree temperatures). I know I speak of my love of gardening and thought you may like to see some photos (you are
welcome to come in person too). I took them this morning before the heat started any wilting. I love how each season brings different blooms and colors. Enjoy!
Veggies - 5 varieties of tomatoes, sunflowers, herbs, fennel, leeks, green beans and peas. Peppers are on the deck.
