It's so exciting that this year the Holiday catalog begins one month earlier than ever before. This gives us one more month to plan and create handmade cards, tags, gifts, memory books and more. Many of us have a little more time on our hands this year because we are staying home. If you haven't done a Handmade Holiday before, this is the
year to start! And I am going to help you out! Beginning this Thursday, I am launching my new 20 Weeks of Handmade Holiday Ideas. In the past, I have done 12 Weeks of Christmas Ideas, but the early catalog and extra time at home got me thinking of including all the Fall & Winter Holidays and for an extended period of time. You will automatically receive these tutorials - no need to do anything. If you have a friend or relative you think may enjoy
receiving them, please forward them this Newsletter or mail list sign up link - www.mailsomethingpretty.com/signup
Thank you!
Holiday Catalog is now LIVE!
This new Holiday catalog is bursting with 83 pages of Fall & Winter Holidays - particularly Christmas. You will find Holiday card & tag kits, the returning Advent calendar kit (that can be transformed into any themed countdown or cute storage box), Product Medleys (everything you need with one item number), new stamp sets, specialty papers (foil, velvet, flocking, glimmer), dies, punches,
ribbons, embellishments, treat containers, and a card display rack. You will need to look over this new catalog several times, because I can promise you, you will miss things on your first glance. My pre-order of this catalog arrives later today and I can't wait to start creating and sharing.

New Look, Design and Better Shopping Experience
Stampin' Up!'s online store has been under major renovation and also launches today. It's much easier to search & navigate, find products, bigger pictures, create a wishlist (& share it), and more. I will be creating a video showcasing all the great things about this new site once I familiarize myself with it too.
If you have shopped online in the past, you will have to manually enter your username & password because this site was created on a different platform than the old one. If you don't remember your password, you can click forgot my password and receive an email to reset. You only have to do this once and then your computer will remember it going forward. This same link will
get you there and be connected to me: www.mailsomethingpretty.com/shoponline
Over the last two weeks, some members of my team participated in a card swap. Normally, we meet in person to swap cards and create together, but we have adapted our swap to sending them in the mail (which makes going to the mailbox much more fun). The theme of the swap was pretty loose - use any products from the Annual or Holiday catalogs. Each of the
cards are fantastic, made with care and truly different from each other. This is a great opportunity for me to share with you different styles than my own. Thank you to those who participated. I hope you feel inspired by my team!

Q: Looks like Stampin’ Seal+ and Tear & Tape do the same thing – do I need both?
A: Yes. Think of it like painting a wall – you need a Roller and a Brush. Stampin’ Seal+ (149699) is your Roller – it’s in a ‘case’ so extremely easy to use & control. But when you’re in a tight space, that ‘case’ gets in the way – you need a Brush = Tear & Tape (138995). Pull off a little piece, lay it down where you want it, then remove the cover with your Take Your Pick + Mini Spatula tip (144107). When you use both, you’ll be a
much better painter/crafter!
Q: How do you attach the Vellum Doilies without messy glue blobs showing thru?
A: You can use this method with both the Square Vellum Doilies (152484)and Vellum Card stock (101856) … Smear a little Multipurpose Liquid Glue (110755) on your Silicone Craft Sheet (127853). Add a few drops of water and swirl around to create a “glue wash” area just slightly larger than your Vellum piece. Carefully lay your piece into the wash, pick up, and attach to your project. Since you created a ‘film’ of glue everywhere, there will be no “blobs”
and your piece is securely adhered too!
- Another tip with the Square Vellum Doilies is you can cut them to many shapes, or cut in half to create two layers.
You may remember this peony flower from a few weeks ago when I showed you all the different ways to apply color (this one was colored with the sponge daubers). If you missed that post, here is the link - July 7 Coloring Post

There are so many ways to be part of Stampin' Up! and so many ways to grow - creatively and economically. My team of "Wicked Stampahs" includes every type

The start of a new catalog is always a great time to join - there are so many new products & ideas to get excited about, create with and share with others. Sharing can be as easy as mailing a card, posting a pic or, if you are interested in the business aspect, sharing catalogs.
As I stated above, I'm starting to prepare for the holiday classes and specials I'm going to be offering in my Stamping Business. I know it's only August, but this is the time of year to plan ahead. If you want to start a business that's going to be ready to meet the holiday season head-on, now is the time to start it!
Do you know that some of the most successful Stampin' Up Demonstrators are running their businesses online? It's true! If there's one thing this pandemic has taught us, it's that almost any business can work online... and that includes stamping and paper crafting businesses!
In fact, taking your business online means you can attract customers from all over the country, and you can do it from the comfort of your own home! I have "met" many of you because you found me online. I would be happy to teach you what I know and guide you to other resources that will help.
If the idea of having an online business is an attractive one, I'd love to show you how you can do that as a Stampin' Up Demonstrator.
If you'd like to learn more, please don't hesitate to reach out to me at christine@mailsomethingpretty.com or call/text 339/788-1915. I love to chat about what I do (almost for 14 years).
Week one starts this Thursday!!!!
