I've discovered that people learn how to do things differently. There are several types of learners: audio, spacial, verbal, visual, logical, physical, social......I tend to teach visually because that's how I learn. I would rather look a picture and figure it out than read written directions. But, I know not all of you learn this way.
Over the winter I saw a card using a "cool" fold, figured it out by looking at a picture and then made the card and shared how to in a video in February. I called it a side fold. I just found out it's called a Book Binding Fold.

I belong to a group of card makers where we share ideas and directions with each other each month. Writing these directions is a struggle to me each month, but it's a good exercise for my brain. These cards that we make/share can only be shared by email, we don't post them to social media pages. I've shared several with you over the last few years. Most times you see a pdf in a weekly email, it's from this
group. Karen made the following card using this book binding fold with the written directions.
It's really the same card I made, but with a different method of directions. Mine in video format, hers in text. All you need to do is switch out the papers.
The card I made uses the retiring Pretty Perennials bundle (photo below). If you like the stamp set & dies, they are retiring on June 30.
The card that Karen made uses the new You're a Peach Designer Paper and Biggest Wish stamp set.
What type of learner are you?
Have fun making your book binding card, no matter which format of directions you choose.
