Do you remember the first time you saw the impressive Stampin' Up! Annual Catalog? Were you filled with excitement, joy and overwhelmed at where to start - all at the same time? Perfectly Normal!!! And Stampin' Up! has a solution to this
feeling. Are you new to stamping and paper crafting? Then this new Beginners Brochure is just for you. In this 15 page miniature sized catalog, the terms, samples, ideas and projects are purposely made simpler and easy to replicate. The catalog is broken down into 5 Quick & Easy sections: Kits, Tags, Coordination, Stamping, and Color.
There are 4 exclusive stamp sets in this Beginners Brochure (and you don't have to be a beginner to purchase them) showcasing projects and the supplies to make them. This truly makes it easy for a beginner. Choose a project you like and order exactly what is listed.
Would you like to see the Beginner's Brochure? Click on the below link, or let me know you would like a copy and I will mail one to you.
Did you know that flowers have meanings? One of my favorite books, The Language of Flowers by Vanessa Diffenbaugh combines the symbolism of flowers with the fictitious story of a young women making connections with others through flowers. It's been a while since I have read this book, I
think it is calling me to re-read...
I just created a card and post about a black-eyed Susan birthday card, which according to www.universofsymbolism.com/flower-symbolism are "fun, flirty and charming...add in a flair for happiness and a heart full of smiles and you have a recipe for joy". That's exactly what I feel for these flowers - even
before I knew the definition/symbolism.
This card focuses on punches, primarily the Daisy Punch. If you do a Pinterest search "Daisy Punch Stampin' Up", you will come up with hundreds of pins using the punch alone and with the two coordinating stamp sets (Daisy Lane and Daisy Delight).
Magnolia Lane 4 Panel Card
Last week I filmed a video tutorial on a really easy fancy fold card I am called a 4 Panel Card. It looks really impressive, but really all you need to do is make three score lines and add pretty Designer Series Paper. As long as you have a score board or trimmer
that scores, you can make this card and impress whoever you mail/give it to. This card uses the beautiful Magnolia Lane paper, but I show you another example with the Perennial Essence paper. I bet you could use every pack of Designer Series paper and they would all look impressive (hey, that's an idea I just may have to try using my share of the Paper Share).
In this video, I also use one of the new stamp sets in the Beginners Brochure that coordinates with the Magnolia Lane paper. It's a miniature version of the Good Morning Magnolia stamp set called Magnolia Blooms. Look at them both side by side:
Both stamp sets coordinate with the entire suite of Magnolia products (paper, Memories & More card pack, cards & envelopes; ribbon, embellishments, Blends Markers and embossing folder) but you can choose which suits your needs better, beginner or
advanced.

Between going on college tours for my daughter and getting my son ready to go back to college in a few days, I'm a bit behind with my samples. I'll be sending out photos soon for next week's card class, but we will be using the new Free as a Bird stamp set. Be
sure to RSVP to reserve your spot at my table.
Thursday, August 15 at 10 am & 7 pm

I'll have many other sentiments to choose from too.
Join Stampin' Up! in August and Receive so Many Extras!
Did you know that you can get a whole bunch of extras in your Starter Kit if you join Stampin' Up! in August? Pay only $99 and choose $155 of products plus get free shipping and a $10 shopping coupon to use in September.
I joined Stampin' Up! almost 13 years ago and have loved every minute of it because I can work from home, set my own hours and do as much or a little as I want (plus I love to be around other crafty & creative people). There are many days I work, stamp & create in my pajamas!!! Some demonstrators remain a "hobbyist" and only buy their supplies and others turn it into a little or
big part time or full time job. You make it work for your individual needs and life.
I invite you to join my team of Wicked Stampahs. We are a group of diverse women (& one man) who love to stamp and create. On August 24, we are getting together for a "shoebox swap" and I invite you to join us. Reach out to me and I will give you all the details.
