Stamping to make a Difference
Did you happen to see the Nature's Beauty stamp set on the inside back cover of the Holiday catalog? This set has been designated
to be a "Difference Maker". For over 30 years, Stampin' Up! has included "making a difference" in their Statement of the Heart* mission.
Shelli Gardner, founder of Stampin' Up!, wrote the Dear Friends letter on the inside cover of the Holiday catalog, which partly states: "The holidays can also present emotional challenges for some, and simply sharing a handmade card will brighten anyone's day. However, in those cases where extra help is needed, Stampin' Up! wants to lend a hand. To this end, we are donating a portion of
each sale of the Nature's Beauty Stamp Set to mental health organizations in your area".
The announcement of these organizations was just made today. In the United States, $3 of each purchased set, will be donated to NAMI, National Alliance on Mental Illness. To read more information about NAMI's mission and support, you can visit here: www.nami.org.
Consider joining all the other stamping difference makers by adding this stamp set to your next order. I will keep you up to date with all of the donations made throughout the year.
