World Card Sending Week

This past Saturday was World Card Making Day. A day begun many years ago by Paper Crafting Magazine.

Stampin' Up! wants to follow up this day of card making with the first annual World Card Sending Week! Their goal is to send 50,000 cards from demonstrators, customers and employees around the world between Sunday, October 6 and Saturday, October 12.

Join me and the card making community by mailing cards this week!

Let me know how many cards you mail this week and I will:

1. Mail each of you a handmade card (let me know Sunday how many cards you mail).

2. Report this group's number of mailed cards to Stampin' Up!

3. Report back to you how many cards this group mailed and the final number of cards mailed world wide reported by Stampin' Up!.

Don’t let those cards collect dust, send them this week and use #worldcardsendingweek to tag photos on social media.

Card Sketch Ideas

Since I am asking you to mail some cards, I thought I would give you some sketch ideas to help you create your cards. These sketches come directly from a group of demonstrators who created the Global Design Project, http://www.global-design-project.com/. Each week they present a challenge: sketch, color or theme. The designers display their projects and then ask everyone to submit their entries. Anyone can play. Check them out, it's a lot of fun and filled with inspiration.

Two Christmas Themed Paper Pumpkin Kits

Paper Pumpkin has you covered this upcoming Christmas season. For October and November, Paper Pumpkin is offering back-to back coordinating kits, one with Christmas cards, the other tags. Both kits make it easy for you to add a handmade, personal touch to your holiday giving - without a lot of fuss.
