Happy September!

Over the last few days I've heard people mention that September is like the beginning of a new year.  This idea makes sense.  For a lot of us, it's back to school time - a new school year.  Why not treat it like a New Year?  Make an early resolution, start new habits and routines, learn something new, re-connect with friends.  When is the last time you organized photos?  Sent a card to a friend?  Made a decoration?  Now is the time to do all of these things, especially before the upcoming busy holiday season.  Stampin' Up! is here to help and so am I. Remember Stampin' Up!'s motto: Inspire, Create, Share.

In this newsletter, you will find information on:
-Paper Pumpkin deal - only one day left!
-World Card Making Day Event, Oct. 5
-Get a Free Stamp Set
-Color Combination of the Month
-Holiday Catalog & Supplement
-Upcoming classes

Color Combo of the Month
Image
Here's a nice combination that would make a great masculine card without using grays and browns.

Blackberry Bliss + Lost Lagoon + Old Olive

The base of the card uses Sahara Sand. Can you see how I made some texture?  I used my chevron embossing folder for each of the three colors and then cut sections with my scissors.  Stamp set:  Bravo Photopolymer.

Have you received your Holiday Catalog yet?  Do you love it as much as I do? If you haven't received a copy, please let me know and I will get one to you, you don't want to miss out!

The holiday catalog has been a hit so far, but Stampin' Up! thought that it really isn't possible to have too much of a good thing! So this year they're going to offer some additional Christmas-themed products in a small, printed publication - the 2014 holiday supplement .

The supplement will offer several new products, including a kit, stamps, and more Project Life! The 2014 holiday supplement will launch on October 20.
