Like it or not, we need to say hello to November. Goodbye warm weather, goodbye sitting on the deck reading a book in the warm sunshine, goodbye walks on the beach. Hello wool socks, hello baked potatoes to warm the kitchen, hello layers and layers. On Sunday, I saw snow in the air and it even stuck to the ground in some areas. Like it or not, we are full swing into Autumn. The good news (for a crafter like us) is
this season brings many reasons to create. Setting a table for Thanksgiving? Create your own place cards, napkin rings, menus, centerpieces, gratitude lists, invitations....Are you a guest instead of hosting? Make your own hostess gift, Thanksgiving card to all those you won't see and thank you card (for a delicious dinner). And don't forget, there are even more reasons to create right around the corner. If we are smart, we should get a head
start on our creations so we can actually enjoy the season. In this newsletter, you will find information on: -Gift Wrapping Suggestions -Craft Space
Photo Request -Holiday Wish List -Halfway through the 12 Weeks of Christmas -Christmas Card Consultation
Option -Host/Plan a Ladies Night -Upcoming Classes & Fairs

You have at your fingertips the ability to make a special gift even more special and beautiful. You should buy both the most boring gift wrap/bag you can AND the most beautiful ribbon. Stampin' Up! offers many different styles of ribbon that are all beautiful and top quality. Most yardages are 10+ yards (certainly many more than the 3 yard spools at the local craft
stores). Let the ribbon be the dressing and also part of the gift - have you ever saved pretty ribbon from a gift? These chevron bags also make it easy to wrap up some special cards or treats you've made. It's almost too pretty to open.

Send me a photo of your craft space |
I’m partnering with a team at Stampin' Up!’s corporate headquarters and we’re working to observe our own crafting practices as well as the practices of our customers. They've asked me to gather information about a few of my customers’
crafting spaces by collecting photos of the area in their homes where they craft. Would you be able to e-mail me one or two photos of your crafting space? It should only take a few minutes because you just need to capture the space as it is right now (no cleaning up
allowed!). Thank you so much for helping us out! This is all part of research that will impact products of the future.

What do YOU want for
Christmas? |
We all try to get just the right gift for our loved ones, but what about you? Does anyone ever ask you what you want? This year, I've created a Holiday Wish List program. All you need to do is fill out the form with what Stampin' Up! products you are
wishing for, a few people for me to contact (your husband, mother, sister, etc.) and give the form back to me. Easy peasy, I do all the work. Not sure what you want? You can get a gift certificate too. I am happy to send you a wish list form, or click HERE for an online version.

Half way through the 12 Weeks of Christmas |
So far, we have seen ideas for several Christmas cards, candy treat bags and handmade gifts of muffins in a jar. Have these weekly ideas inspired you? Are the directions helpful? We are only halfway done, so be on the lookout for more great and holiday- inspiring ideas. See something you like, be sure to order the supplies with enough time to re-create the project/s.

Christmas Card Consulations |
Thinking about making your own Christmas/Holiday cards this year? How about some tags? Not sure where to start or what you need? Cards do not need to be intricate or overly detailed to be beautiful. Cards
just need to be made with your own hands, good thoughts and sent with love. I usually charge a $20 consolation fee, but since you are a member of my Mail Something Pretty group, I will waive the fee. Contact me today so we can get together and plan out your cards. Don't wait until the last minute! Making cards last minute is not nearly as much fun as it should be (I'm speaking from experience).

Plan a night with your
friends |
Plan a night (or afternoon or morning) to get together with your girlfriends, sisters, aunts, neighbors and get creative. The Watercolor Winter Simply Created Card Kit lends itself perfectly for a gathering. The kit includes everything you need except
stamps, ink and adhesive to make 20 truly beautiful cards. Very easy to follow directions. I had a lot of fun putting my kit together. By doing this as a group project, you can all share the stamps and ink. I've posted more details HERE.
