Tomorrow is the day we are waiting for!

I am in love with the new "Crazy about You" and "Hello You" bundle! This stamp set and thinlit work beautifully together. I was planning on stamping and punching one of the flowers that comes with the set, but then decided the card didn't need it - it says exactly what I want it to say.

Do you want to see my inspiration for this card? Lucky for us there are thousands (maybe even millions) of card examples all over the internet and they are begging to be CASED. This card was designed by Mary Fish of stampinpretty.com. She always has a simple and crisp layout in her designs. I liked her layers of paper as a background (a great way to use up scraps) and the tag on front. She used the same "Crazy About You" stamp set as I did. Instead of a regular tag, I used the new Ornate Tag Topper punch.

If you really look at it, it's quite a simple card with very little stamping. Sometimes, that's just what we need when we need to mail out cards. Just a 1/2" horizontal strip of paper to make the inside have a little interest. I used that new Birthday Bash paper again - the colors are so much fun to work with together.

You may have noticed the new twine? It's a little thicker than the baker's twine. Three colors come in the Painted Blooms Cotton Twine set: Soft Sky, Whisper White and Wild Wasabi.
