Happy Mother's Day!
May Flowers are finally here!  I'm so happy Spring has finally sprung.  I'm not even (that) mad that the deer ate all of my tulips.

Spring brings many occasions for handcrafted cards: Mother's Day, First Communion, Graduation, Showers & Weddings and of course spring birthdays and thank you's.  Be sure to sneak some paper crafting time into your gardening and weeding schedules this Spring.

Product of the Month - Adventure Bound Paper Stack
No delicate flowers or soft colors here - these designs are bold and spirited, making them the right choice for Father's day, graduation or masculine projects.  Great for card fronts, backgrounds and pocket pages (for memory keeping albums).  48 sheets in each stack for just $6.95 #137780, 4 each of 12 double-sided designs, 4 1/2" x 6 1/2".  Coordinates with Basic Gray, Cajun Craze, Early Espresso, Island Indigo, Mossy Meadow, Sahara Sand and Whisper White.  I'll be using these papers at my Graduation & Father's Day Class.
You're Invited to my PPPL Party
I am hosting a gathering (Paper Pumpkin Project Life Party) at my house where I will have Paper Pumpkin projects for you to make AND I will also be demonstrating a fabulous photo/memory-keeping system called Project Life.  You will fall in love with this quick, easy and fun photo system.  I never became a scrapbooker (a bit intimidating and time consuming for me), but I love this pocket system because it's super simple and affordable.  All I do is slip my photos into the Photo Pocket Pages, add pre-designed cards and write a little memory.  Viola!  Pages are done (and they look great too).

Scribble on your cards!
Take a look at this cool technique that is super easy and super fun.  All you need are some solid style stamps, inks and a journaling pen.  Below you will see I stamped my flowers with the Petal Potpourri stamp set (available only until June 2) and the leaves & sentiment from the Flower Patch stamp set (will be available in the new catalog).  I used my Project Life journaling pen to outline (a.k.a. scribble) the flowers and leaves.  Please notice I did not outline perfectly - that's part of the fun.  I would love to see the scribble cards you come up with.
Angel Policy

Stampin' Up! welcomes artists (us) who want to use their copyrighted images in their own handmade craftwork that we produce to sell.  If you want to sell your cards (or other creations), then you must abide by the Angel Policy and use an official Stampin' Up! limited license stamp on the back of the card/product.  The two stamp sets that have these license stamps are "Creatively Yours" p. 111 of the 2014/15 annual Catalog (clear or wood) and the photopolymer stamp set "Better than E-mail" shown below (not in any catalog).   Here is a link to their entire policy: Angel Policy.

Question:  A couple of my photopolymer stamps from the Sheltering Tree set aren't as tacky & don't cling to the blocks as well. Can I just wash it with soap & water? They feel gritty. Thanks!  Susan M.

Answer:  Susan, I have washed a number of my photopolymer stamps using just water and rubbing them. Mine too felt gritty and were not sticking, but after washing them they are fine.  If you find that they are still not as sticky as you want them, you can wipe the backs of the photopolymer stamps with a spray of rubbing alcohol.
You are invited to the Paper Pumpkin Live Stream
Skip to the fun with thousands of others TONIGHT (May 8) at 9 pm (eastern time) for a special livestream at YouTube.com/PaperPumpkin.   Don't be late because they are going to jump right in with all sorts of greatness.  I wish I could tell you more, but I don't know any more.  I'll be watching right along with you.
Do you still need a Mother's Day gift?
It's Not Too Late!!!
Paper Pumpkin is THE perfect gift to give and receive.
Paper Pumpkin is a fabulous monthly paper crafting kit that is delivered right to your mailbox each month.  Each kit contains all you need for that project: directions, stamps, inks, papers and accessories.  How awesome!  There is no risk to Paper Pumpkin.  You can skip a month or stop at any time - but I promise that you will love it and never want to stop.  There are tons of blogs, pinterest pages and videos of putting the kits together and for alternate ideas for your kits - you don't have to follow the directions if you don't want to.  Paper Pumpkin comes in two ways - an ongoing monthly subscription for $19.95 (includes shipping) or a pre-paid subscription for 1, 3, 6 or 12 months (prices are above).  I created a page on my website that walks you right through subscribing both ways:

If you would like to give Paper Pumpkin as a gift, you will receive a redemption code for that pre-paid subscription.  Just give the code to your recipient and she can enter the code at www.paperpumpkin.com.  So easy!  And, here is a link to print a gift certificate:
