Happy New Year!!!
For some of you, this may be the first newsletter you have received from me.  Over the school break, I imported all of the email addresses I have received (from craft fairs, classes, referrals, hostess parties, etc.) to this program because it is much more reliable for getting information to you.  Now, everyone's information is in one place (and will never be shared with anyone).   Each month I send out a newsletter and I hope you find it helpful, enjoyable and inspirational.  If at any time, any of you wish to be removed from my mailing list (I promise I will not have any hurt feelings), you can click on the "unsubscribe" button at the end of each post I send out.

January is an exciting time for Stampin' Up!, their demonstrators, customers and followers. Read below and I think you will see why.
It's Official:  Sale-A-Bration begins today!
Sale-a-bration is the best part (well, one of the best parts) of the Stampin' Up! year:

Shop:  For every $50 you spend (before tax & shipping), you get one FREE product (no limits) from an exclusive catalog.  It's the perfect time to purchase products you've had your eye on, while earning more for free.  This year, they are going to have some products available throughout SAB, some products only available from January 5 - February 15 and new products available only from February 16 - March 31.

Sale-a-bration is also the best time of year to host a party and/or join the Stampin' Up! family.

Host:  Need another excuse to get together with friends?  Just host a qualifying party during Sale-a-bration and earn $25 additional Stampin' Rewards!  You can even apply your Stampin' Rewards towards a Starter Kit.

Come to Bingo on January 18!
Get ready to win some newly released Stampin' Up! product prizes, make 2 cards, socialize and have a wonderful afternoon,  This next game is on Martin Luther King Day (hopefully some of you will have the day off so you can come).  Monday, January 18 at 2 pm (my house).  Let's be sure to hope for NO SNOW that day too.

RSVP right away so I can order the prizes.  Prizes are based on the number of people attending - the more people - the more prizes.

New Stamp Club beginning in January
I am looking for at least 5 people for the Club to run. This club will run January - May (5 months).  Each member will purchase a minimum of $25 of product each month (before tax & shipping) and will receive the following:
-Free catalogs
-Free "Wink of Stella" Glitter brush (video below)
-Free Stampin' Rewards for the month you are assigned hostess.
-Little treats from me along the way
-Let me know right away if you want to be part of the Club - you do not have to live near me to belong.
*  Club members can also take advantage of the Sale-a-bration sale during the months of January, February & March
My Goals for 2016
I wanted to share with you all my goals (stamping related) for 2016 because I am going to need your help with some of them.  Goals are important to have and research has proven that goals not written down or shared are only a wish.  I love being a part of the Stampin' Up! family, want to do well and want to grow my team (hint, hint).  So here they are:

    1.  Post consistently and regularly on my website, Pinterest and Facebook pages.
    2.  Ask people to host a party.
    3.  Create & post videos (I bought the equipment months ago).
    4.  Follow Up.  This is my biggest weakness.
  
If you ever have an idea of posts, projects, videos, etc. please share them with me.
If you are interested in hosting a party (there are so many benefits as well as fun), please tell me.
If you would are interested in finding out more about the Stampin' Up! family and my team, I would be happy to share all that I can with you (and with no pressure to join).  There are so many great reasons to consider joining AND there is no risk or commitment if you change your mind.

It's my Birthday this Month
I love to receive handmade cards just like you do.   I have found that sometimes people don't like to mail me cards because they are not confident in their work - never mind that foolishness!  My birthday is on January 10 if you would like to mail me a card.  Let me know your birthday and I will add you to my list.  I will hang them all in my studio for all of my class attendees to see.  Thank you!

Winter & Spring Classes & Events

JANUARY:

Series Class - Thank You - Thursday, Jan. 7 at 10 am, Friday, Jan. 8 at 10 am and 7 pm.  $23.  Make 6 thank you cards and a storing case.  RSVP by Jan. 5.

Bingo! – Monday, January 18 at 2 pm, $25 pre-registration by Jan. 4 (so I can order the prizes).  Bring a new stamping friend and you each get two bingo boards.  First ball called at 2:15 pm.  Play 6 Bingo games for Stampin’ Up! product prizes – last game is “cover your board” for grand prize & gift certificate (additional boards $5).  Make 2 cards during intermission.

Series Class - Get Well - Thursday, Jan. 28 at 10 am, Friday, Jan. 29 at 10 am and 7 pm.  $23.  Make 6 get well cards and a storing case.  RSVP by Jan. 26.

FEBRUARY:

Valentine's Day Cards & Treats - Thursday, Feb. 4 at 10 am and Friday, Feb. 5 at 10 am and 7 pm.  $20.  RSVP by Feb. 3.

Series Class - Birthday - Thursday, Feb. 11 at 10 am and Friday, Feb. 12 at 10 am and 7 pm.  $23.  Make 6 Birthday cards and a storing case.  RSVP by Feb. 9.

MARCH:

Open House & Retired Stamp Set Sale, Saturday, March 5 from 10 - 1pm. 

Easter Cards & Treats - Thursday, March 17 at 10 am and Friday, March 18 at 10 am and 7 pm.  $20.  RSVP by March 15.

Series Class - Sympathy & Thinking of You - Thursday, March 31 at 10 am, Friday, April 1 at 10 am and 7 pm.  $23.  Make 6 sympathy & thinking of you cards and a storing case.  RSVP by March 29.

APRIL:

Mother's Day - Thursday, April 28 at 10 am and Friday, April 29 at 10 am and 7 pm. $20.   Make 6 cards (they don't all have to be Mother's day cards).

MAY:

Series Class - Congrats - Thursday, May 5 at 10 am, Friday, May 6 at 10 am and 7 pm.  $23.  Make 6 congratulations (includes baby) cards and a storing case.  RSVP by May 4.

Series Class - Weddings (or Anniversaries) - Thursday, May 26 at 10 am, Friday, May 27 at 10 am and 7 pm.  $23.  Make 6 wedding and/or anniversary and a storing case.  RSVP by May 24.

JUNE:

Father's Day - Thursday, June 2 at 10 am and Friday, June 3 at 10 am and 7 pm.  $20.  Make 6 cards (they don't all have to be Father's Day).  RSVP by May 31.

Adhesive:  To keep my class prices low, you will need to provide your own adhesive.  I will tell you which types you will need prior to class.  I will also have Stampin’ Up! adhesive for you to purchase during a class in case you don’t have any or run out.

Cancellation policy:  If you need to cancel with less than 48 hours until card-class time, you will still need to pay the class fee.  However, I will complete the cards for you.
