Hello August!

What a beautiful and relaxing time of year.  Where I sit writing, it's an absolutely perfect day. Summer is still here, but it's winding down.  Kids are hopefully looking forward to returning to school (I bet the moms are).  For my family, it's going to be a very exciting year because my son will be a senior in high school.  So many things to do to get ready for applying to college!  Enjoy the rest of your summer (and be sure to work in some paper crafting time into your days).

Today is National Chocolate Chip Cookie Day - Aug. 4
And you know what that means....baking in the kitchen.  I wish I could send you all a package of cookies with a nicely stamped tag with coordinating beautiful ribbon.  The next best thing I can do is share my recipe with you.  My daughter and I have made many recipes and developed our own version of "Best Chocolate Chip Cookies Ever"

Newly Released - I Stamped This
On August 2nd, Stampin' Up! released a new stamp set called I Stamped This that lets everyone know your project is made by hand and with love.  And you SHOULD let everyone know your project was made by you.  This set is available both in wood ($25) and clear ($18) mount and includes 16 stamps, giving you a variety of ways to say that your project was created with care using quality Stampin' Up! products.  

This set also includes two different sizes of the "©Stampin' Up!" for you to stamp onto projects that you create to sell (see www.stampinup.com/angelpolicy for more information).

There is one other set that coincides with the Angel Policy and it is Better than Email (another great set).  It is sold as a photopolymer set and is $16.

Thoughtful Branches Card Class - Friday August 5 at 7 pm.  Stampin' Up! is offering an exclusive stamp set/bundle for purchase during the month of August only.  Take this class to use it (and then see if you want to buy it).  $23 for 6 cards.  


Christmas in August - Friday, August 19 at 10 am and 7 pm.  6 cards for $23 or 12 cards for $33 (3 designs).  RSVP by noon Wednesday, August 17.

Autumn Leaves Fair - Saturday, September 17 from 9am - 4pm at the Marshfield Fairgrounds.  Free event.  Be sure to stop by my booth and say hello!

Holiday/Autumn/Winter Catalog begins Sept. 1
I can't wait to share with you all the goodies in this upcoming catalog (I'm not allowed to show you any pictures yet).  I can tell you that it is 55 pages and your wish lists are going to be mighty long.  I just ordered a bunch of them, so please let me know if you would like a copy.  Things to look forward to:  new Christmas papers, gingerbread punch & coordinating sets, wine label framelits, project kits (card, tags & centerpiece), LOTS of framelits, embellishments & packaging, New Years, Halloween & Thanksgiving and the list goes on and on!
