Can you believe it's November!!!

Seems like it was just summer mere days ago.  As I look out my windows, I see all the leaves are off the trees, the sky is gray and the air is crisp.  The wood stove has even been lit a few times to take the chill out of the house.  Summer has vanished.  Fall and the approaching Winter is upon us and that means we need to start looking towards all that Winter brings.  This is my warning to you:  start making your Holiday/Christmas cards, gift tags, gifts and house decor this month!  Luckily, Stampin' Up! has us in mind with their Holiday catalog.  There is a fabulous Tin of Tags project kit that has a beautiful watercolor wash, a stitching Christmas Card project kit that makes 18 cards and a tabletop Tree Centerpiece (3 trees actually).  All three project kits will certainly help you get into the spirit and do so with all the design and prep work done for you.  I have more information about them below.

Just Released Today - Stitched Shaped Framelits
I love the look of stitching on paper, but never take my sewing machine out because it's that one extra step.  These Stitched Shapes Framelits give you the look of stitching, but only requires a simple run through of the Big Shot!  I can't wait to start using my set (once it arrives from the lovely UPS man).  This is the detail I have been waiting for.  The set includes 12 dies: 4 circles, 4 squares and 4 ovals.

Coordinating Stamp Sets - 25% off for the month of November
These stamp sets will work wonderfully with the Stitched Shapes Framelits and the bonus is they are on Sale for 25% off during the month of November!  (Of course, you can use the Framelits with many existing and future stamp sets).
Gift Certificates
Did you know that I do gift certificates for Stampin' Up! products and my classes?  They are THE perfect gift to give and receive.  All you need to do is contact me with your information and I'll send the gift certificate to you to give as your gift.  Be sure to let those in your life know that I provide gift certificates if YOU would like to receive one as a gift too.
Are Your Blocks Stained Black?
I have to admit, I don't clean my acrylic blocks as often as I should.  Usually, dish soap and water will do the trick.  Sometimes I find that the black ink will remain "stained" on my blocks. Not to worry, Staz On Cleaner will remove this black ink from your blocks (and I use it to remove the ink off my table too).  It's a great "tool" to have on hand and for $5 you can't go wrong.
With each of the 3 project kits that are highlighted below, you can make them on your own or as a private class.  All you need to do for a private class is invite your girlfriends and I will bring the stamps & ink.  I am actually hosting a class of my own for the Tin of Tags kit that you are invited to attend on Dec. 9 at either 10 am or 7 pm (RSVPs needed by November 22).

Tin of Tags Project Kit

Tags are a must-have for gift-giving and treat-taking. Add your own personal touch with handmade tags you make in minutes. Kit includes enough supplies for 30 tags, 3 each of 10 designs. Instructions included.  Complete the kit using the Tin of Tags Stamp Set (item 142180). Stamps, ink, and adhesive sold separately.  Ink Colors Used:  Real Red, Pacific Point, Old Olive & Crushed Curry.

You can even use your Tin of Tags kit as a hostess gift.  Stamp the tags and put all but one back in the tin.  Use that remaining tag to decorate the top.  No wrapping needed.  Or, divide your tags in thirds and put one of each design in a mini mason jar to hand out as a gift.
Stitched with Cheer Project Kit
This is a great kit to do on your own or with a gathering of friends.  Sew up the holidays with hand-stitched cards in festive designs. Kit includes enough supplies for 18 cards, 6 each of 3 designs, and 18 kraft envelopes and envelope liners. Complete the kit using the Stitched with Cheer Stamp Set (item 142182). Stamps, ink, and adhesive sold separately. Instructions included.  Ink Colors: Basic Black and Emerald Envy.
Forever Evergreen Project Kit
Decorate your mantlepiece or side table with festive trees. This kit makes three trees in two sizes—one 13" tall, two 11" tall—each individually trimmed with handmade ornaments. Complete the kit using the Forever Evergreen Stamp Set (item 142184). Stamps, ink, and adhesive sold separately. Instructions included.  Ink colors:  Cherry Cobbler, Crumb Cake & Soft Suede.  I purchased this kit for my daughter to make (she hasn't done it yet) and did not purchase the coordinating stamp set - one set of ornaments is already decorated and I figured we could decorate the other two with stamps we already have (or even our own marker designs).

Thank You!
Thank you for your orders during the last few weeks.  So far, I am able to donate $127.82 to my son's Eagle Scout Project on your behalf.  Awesome and Thank you!  October was actually my highest sales month in my almost 10 years of being a Stampin' Up! demonstrator - so thank you, thank you!!!  You still have until Nov. 11 to place an order with me and my proceeds will go towards his project.  As a thank you, I will mail you two cards for you to use (I've already mailed out 20 cards and would love to send more).  His project will be completed in the next few weeks and we are all so excited (and relieved).
