Tree Cards
Need to make some quick Christmas cards?
These washi tape tree cards are your answer!

I used the white Notecards & Envelope packs (you get 20 pre-scored cards & envelopes for only $6) as my card bases.  They are sized 3 1/2" x 5" folded and use a regular postage stamp.  These are the two patterned washi tapes I had on hand, but almost any color combinations would work to make decorated trees.  Stampin' Up! sells their washi tape in coordinated roll packs of 5, so you know they all coordinate with each other perfectly.

I took an index card and trimmed it down to 3 1/2" x 2 1/2". I then created a triangle, which I cut out and used it as a template for lining up my washi tape.  You can either line up the edges of the washi tape perfectly with the triangle, or do what I did.  Overlap the washi tape and fold it over the edge. This gives the tree a crisp edge.
My inspiration for these cards came from the Holiday 2016 edition of American Girl magazine.  Washi tape also makes instant candles, snowflakes, lanterns, banners and more.  It's a great staple to have in your crafting pantry for instant patterns.

I hope the last 3 weeks of Christmas Ideas have been helpful and motivate you to start creating!  If I can help you with ordering any supplies, please click one of the links below to contact me.  Thanks!
