Gift Card Card
Many of us give gift cards out as Christmas gifts or thank you gifts for the holidays.  Why not make that gift card extra special by creating your own card for the gift card?
I'm going to give you the dimensions you need to make these cards below.  You can create a gift card card like this for any occasion (birthday, wedding/shower, mother's day, etc) just by changing the colors and patterns.  I think this Coffee Break Designer Series Paper, I immediately thought of the "S" place for coffee gift cards.  This Coffee Break paper is my favorite of all the Annual catalog offerings, and I don't even drink coffee!  The non-coffee patterns in the pack are fantastic.  I also used the coordinating Coffee Cafe stamp set and Coffee Cups Framelits for the front decoration (bundle them together and save 10%).  Again, you can customize this for any occasion.

After you score and cut the base card, you are going to put tear & tape (or fast fuse, very strong adhesive) on the tabs.  Fold them over and close the base to create a pocket.  The insert is just folded at the score mark and fastened together with the strip of striped paper.  This insert creates a pocket for the gift card.  I punched a tab with the Circle tab punch and adhered it to the top of the insert.  The heart decoration for the tab was stamped with the coordinating Tabs for Everything stamp set.  Wrap and adhere the belly band piece around the base and decorate, I did so with the Whipped cream coffee cup.

There's another very popular coffee place around where I live that starts with "D D" and their colors are pink and orange.  I used the same construction, but altered the colors to match the Dunkin' Donuts gift card.  Have fun customizing your gift cards and I would love to see what you create.
