A Final Last Minute Gift Idea
I have really enjoyed sharing gift giving & making ideas with you over the past 12 weeks.  Your positive feedback about my ideas and inspiration has filled my heart with happiness, thank you.  Whichever holiday you celebrate this December, I wish you a happy one filled with love, family and of course creativity.

My last idea to you is an easy one, especially if you need a last minute idea.

Over the summer, my aloe plant had many babies.  I separated and repotted the baby plants (red pots from Ikea) to give as gifts.  I wrapped some jute twine around the pots and inserted a plant tag to give it a personal touch.
I stamped and embossed my greeting with white embossing powder on black card stock, and then cut it out using a stitched oval Thinlit.  I also cut a same sized oval in patterned paper.  Tape down a wooden skewer (trim to fit) on the patterned paper and add some dimensionals, and then your greeting.  You just made an instant, awesome plant tag.  I also added a few jingle bells with red twine.  Does the twine and mini-dimensionals look familiar?  They are leftovers from my October Paper Pumpkin kit (monthly Paper Pumpkin kits are really a great thing to get and also makes a great last minute gift*).

As you can see here, I have multiple aloe plants to give as gifts.  Feel free to head to your local nursery to purchase an aloe plant (or any other plant) to give as a gift if you don't have aloe babies hanging around.  All you need to do is make your own tag.

Thank you again for welcoming my ideas into your inbox each week.  The 12 Weeks of Christmas ideas will return next year.  In the mean time, be sure to visit my website www.mailsomethingpretty.com, like my Facebook page, follow my Instagram account and Pinterest page for more ideas throughout the year.  No need to leave creativity only for the holidays.

I will be hosting an Open house on Saturday, January 6 between 10 am - 1 pm.  Be sure to save the date (and send in your RSVP).  You will get to see, use and purchase new 2018 products as well as be the first to sign up for 2018 classes.  More details will follow shortly.
