Nick Offerman & Amy Poehler hosted an NBC t.v. show this summer called "Making It".  Did you watch it?  The format was based on the baking hit "The Great British Bakeoff".  It is competitive, creative and friendly, with each contestant trying to win mastery patches.  One of the contestants specialized in paper crafting and of course I rooted for her.  At the beginning of each episode, Amy & Nick said:

Creativity lives inside all of us and there's no better way of expressing yourself than by making something by hand.  It's not just a hobby, it's a world wide phenomenon.  

I won't spoil the winner for you, but I wrote down what Amy & Nick said at the conclusion of the show because I thought it was important and relevant to what I/we do:

If you haven't had a chance to watch the show, I encourage you to do so.  It's full of humor, creativity, respect, encouragement and some really great projects.  Remember, what we do & make matters and we are part of this "Making It" phenomenon when we create cards, tags, memory books and gifts.  Happy Creating!
